UK Muslims: 'Ban' Un-Islamic Schools

Oh dear.
This so reminds me of the 70s and trouble between catholics and church of englanders in public schools in Sydney.
The end result was that religious teaching was taken out of the public schools totally in fairness to all religions.

Public schools now have the bare bones of chrisitan celebrations. Christmas and Easter which not only is a religious celebration in the West but a cultural one as well. We all get Christmas and Easter holidays whether we are christian or not.
Most of us in the West give gifts at Christmas whether we are christian or not.
So it's not only a religious thing but a cultural thing.

I think if Muslim parents are that die hard, they should save up their money and send their kids to Islamic schools just like christians have to do who aren't happy with public system and the lack of christian teaching.
If they can't afford it , tough. Get a second or third job like we have to do.
The public school system is crumbling already through lack of funds for essentials without having to add religious preferences to it.

The public school system these days is secular and non-denominational.
Its that way to handle all the nationalities and religions. Anything else would be anti-multiculturalistic anyway. And it's against the law.

the Muslims can't cut corners and just make public schools there own domain. They have to go out and raise money to start their own schools like other religions have had to do before them.
God, do these people want everything for FREE?
