Best of luck to Springer, and many congrats.

Oh and while you're out by here be sure to stop in at a restaurant called Ed Debevic's. It's busy, but it's worth it.

Springer thanx for the info..I hope get's the right way. I am not against skeptics, it's good to have them..but you know everytime i see a Discovery Channel FO Documentary they are real bad made..they put skeptics all the time and the witnees interview got cut out..just a few minutes to say..yes i saw the thing..that's it..and then the skeptics says in 10 minutes or more whatt indeed happen and why it wasnt any ufo...

I am just afraid they do that again to this documentary because they have been prooven for doing this time and time again. I just hope they can put a balance documentary (skeptics and testimonies and Ufologist)..their own time fgor each other..at least gives the viewers their own choice of that to believe...and not put everything in favor of the skeptics..

Good luck springer! Hope it it's well made

Congrats to Springer and ATS....great stuff coming !!!

What I would like to know is this. How much of the Discovery Channel documentary is this going to be??

I assume this is a 1 or 2 hour show, right ?? Like most UFO programs?? Is this O'Hare incident going to take up the entire hour (or two) or is it simply going to be 10 minutes worth of the show, among many other UFO incidents??

I guess what I am asking is how seriously does the Discovery Channel take this O'Hare UFO incident?? If they are indeed devoting an entire program to it, it is quite obvious that they are taking this incident seriously.

Will it fall into all the other "little" incidents, or are they dedicating an entire show to O'Hare??

IMO, there won't be much on the Ohare incident, because there isn't much to talk about beyond the usual "lots of credible people saw it hover and then suddenly shoot straight up, leaving a hole in the cloud deck". There are no control tower recordings, no jets scrambled, no video and only a couple of fuzzy photos, which may not be worth viewing unless they're presented in Hi-Def TV. But even those look like thousands of others that most of public has seen already.

Hopefully, the Discovery Channel will take a serious look at several of the latest reports, including Ohare. FYI, here is a link to one such investigation broadcast by the History channel. They did a pretty good job. Not hokey at all. (Just too short!)

Yeah Springer, I think we could use a bit more information on how closely ATS will be involved with the show. For example, how much of the show will be devoted to the O'Hare incident? Is it all going to be about this one event, and if so, how much evidence don't we know about?

It's these types of things that we here at ATS want to know. We just want to know that we're all, as a community, going to get a front row seat to one of the best shows on TV, that's all.

Well, at least with the Discovery Channel, it won't necessarily be a complete hatchet debunking job, like it would be on the National Geographic Channel.

Still, Internet groups of any kind don't translate well to television. They almost always come across as a collection of oddballs and losers. Not just UFO groups, either. It could be a group about flying model helicopters. Oddballs and losers.

It's true that the young and ignorant of the board are pretty embarrassing, but hey, people gotta learn somewhere. Back in the day, we had to rely on pulp paperbacks with extremely bad photos. It can take years and years to get any kind of reasonable perspective on UFOs, and even then it's not very TV friendly.

Based on the 2 amigo posts, it sounds like the show will focus entirely on the OHare incident. If anything, the other sightings might get some mention as a means of discussing the increased number of sightings in that time but it sounds like the whole show is about Ohare.

For all those who are concerned about the "direction" of this documentary let me do what I can to ease your fears.

For the last 2 months I have been in daily contact with the producers, basically putting the whole show together with them. Because of that, I am the only "talking head" on the O'Hare incident, there won't be anyone else who will have the opportunity to "ridicule" the event, me, or any of the witnesses. I planned it that way.

I sincerely hope this is the case. But based on what I've seen before (Discovery's Freemasononry documentary, for example), I have serious reservations. I definitely distrust mainstream productions like this. If they give you a completely fair shake, I think it will be a first. Good luck!

There is something that I cant quite put my finger on having to do with the manipulation of events.

Look up "walker heart" in google recently a high school student collapsed in gym with a previously unknow heart condition, his heart stopped, he was on a bypass machine for a few days as the medical team searched for a transplant, then it just restarted beating.

A 52 year old man "walker" was killed in the mall shooting in utah.

"be aware of signs and wonders"

Even more strangeness.... "walker"

You are, and here's a few reasons why that's the case.

1) This site is all about one thing: The truth. The more people that know it, the better we all are for it. If we can just reach one more person per day, and give them the truth, then we've done our jobs. To do that, however, would require us to be actively pursuing the media outlets available to us. In this case, the TV. We've already dominated the internet, and it's about time we hit the TV waves as well.

2) The new people mentioned in #1 will grow and evolve into someone that actually cares for society and what we as a civilization should stand for, and they will be more apt to uphold that which we think is most dear. It's all about breeding a new generation of people that could potentially set things right, as they've gone far astray of where we should be as a society.

And finally...

3) If these new people to the site learn and do what's been previously said, what kinds of things will result from that? What will the world become? How will we ever evolve if people don't get to a point where they can see above all of the propoganda, and start to think for themselves, instead of letting their "elected" politicians do all of the thinking for them?

These are but a few of the things that occupy my mind of late, and ATS is leading the way in doing what I've said above. So, if there's any way that I can be a part of that, then, by God Almighty, I'll do what I can to help. If my simply posting this gets someone new to the site, then my work here is done. I'll be able to feel as though I've accomplished something. Whether they learn anything or not, I'll know that they'll be exposed to ideas that will change who they are, and what they will become.

That, in and of itself, is more important than anything else that any of us will ever discuss here, as they will carry that for the rest of their lives. We, in a way, can shape the outcome of the world, one person at a time. And I ask you all, who wouldn't want to be a part of THAT??
