I was John Titor.

Why isn't this thread locked?

The original poster is from Argentina (gee... Titor fled there? Nah!) and is about 20 years old. Furthermore, the writing style is consistant with someone who isn't very proficient in English.

Titor the hoaxer had two years of college and wrote very differntly than this lamebrain. It's amusing that we've got a hoaxer hoaxing a hoax... but he's still gonna have a Very Short History with us.

Hoaxers who hoax hoaxes hoax no longer.

Titoring On The Brink

Well let's see...

So far we have exactly one (1) post from Alan950 in toto which consists of a very brief "confession" to being John Titor.

From that, we're on our fourth page of "churn", and it seems the staff has two wonderful choices:

1. Leave the thread open and be roundly criticized for allowing such an obvious hoax thread to remain open, and thereby degrading the high standards of ATS.

2. Close the thread and be roundly criticized for censorship, blowing our Big Chance to finally get the truth about John Titor, and thereby degrading the high standards of ATS.

Conclusion: Maintaining the high standards of ATS ain't easy, buster!
