Annee,
Vegatarians choose this lifestyle to make a positive change in their life, and to hopefully open some eyes. It is true that some bodies are not made to exclude meat, it should be in everyone's interest to cause as little harm as possible. Look at it the way the Native Americans have- that all life is sacred, and to give thanks to the life of the animal that has been killed for food. What I am trying to say is that the fast food industry is not providing nourishment, only sustenance, and merely filling the stomach is not contributing to the spiritual void. Eat what you want, just remember that a life was taken so you can live.
Lady X- turn off the F---ING game and go outside!!! There is a world calling you, and your depression probably has to do with your lack of connection to it. We are provided with so much in this life, and to deny it by living in a created fantasy is a few steps from suicide. Go out and contribute to the world, and when it is your time to leave this rock, you will.

Mayor - - I agree totally with you on respect for all living things. I realize almost everything is food/shelter for another.

I'm serious - when I walk across a lawn - - I am aware there is a whole 'nother world below my feet. I believe everything has an energy soul either in it - or nurturing it.

You are probably one of the few on here - - who would not think me crazy for saying rocks have "souls" (not necessarily in them - - but around them.

I believe everything is energy - - created and nurtured by intelligence/intelligent energy.

There are grays that are simply robots, but they can be used as suits by higher and lower beings too.

But as far as ETs not understanding the concepts of individuality, loyalty and love, that’s completely false. These are higher beings than humans, they know and understand everything that humans do plus a whole lot more.

That’s like saying adults don’t understand the emotions of their young---not talking about teenagers---lol

I don't buy this.

First of all all greys are artificial intelligent machines that were left behind by the tinkers to take notes. They are nothing more than lab assistants. They will continue to do so until 2012 when the actual alien scientist return. Also they don't FEEL like we do. They are above emotions. Emotions have been deemed unuseful and bred out of their DNA, like we wil eventually do with cancer. They do understand emotion, but only like a novice who has read a book on it. To actually understand FEELing one must experience, they cannot.

Hi Annee,
There is life all around us- in the air, in the water, everywhere. I studied micro biology and found that everything on this planet is comprised of four elements- I can't remember the full names, but G A T and C are the beginning of each word. Everything is just a combination of these four things, and each vibrates at its own frequency. To feel the Earth requires a level of intuition and sensitivity that we can access if we try. We are connected, but our physical separatness gives the illusion that we are isolated. And it is only an illusion. Consider the dreams of flying, or being an animal. There is a freedom inside that is more advanced than the skin bag that carries us around. I like your posts, let us continue talking...

I’m not selling, I’m only telling the way it is, and that has many hot under the collar.

If demons are taken out of the equation most traditional belief systems would fall.

The devil can’t make anyone do anything---people have to take responsibility for their own actions and bad deeds and stop with the scapegoat drivel that “the devil made me do it”

And don’t hold your breath on 2012,---it will be the most unspectacular year on record.

Any year that wont be?

Just FYI, I don't really believe what you're saying 'cause you could be anyone sitting behind that screen (no offence), but nonetheless, it's interesting.

Have to say - - while Sleeper's "story" feels as if it comes from personal experience.

Yours feels like you've read too many books.

Kind of a "seek and ye shall find" - - vibe. You get an idea in your head - - - then you find writtings that agree and encourage your viewpoint.

Interesting theory Annee, it could very well be the case. We should all be seekers. Nobody just "knows". I have thoughts and feelings about these things, and yes, I may be looking for signs. I think we all look for signs that will villify our ideas. This whole forum seems to be a repository for that exact thing. But to close your eyes, and empty your thoughts and have a moment that is open and receptive to whatever vibrations are around you, that is nothing that can be learned in a book. It is the significance of that experience as it relates to world cultures and religions that I find interesting. THere are so many things that we can experience that cannot be put into words.

Hello TheMayor.

Welcome. Lots of folks here have the same kind of ideas and thoughts you've expressed in your post so you should feel right at home here.

This thread was started by a fellow who calls himself Sleeper. In this thread folks talk about all kinds of stuff, but the primary reason for the thread here is to discuss Sleeper's 'Sci-Fi' blog. Look for one of Sleeper's posts, and down near the bottom of it you should be able to find a link to his blog. Clicking on the link will take you to the blog. Once you have read it, you'll be ready to ask Sleeper questions, and talk to the other folks here about it. Oh, and if you really get to like this thread, it won't hurt to read this thread from the beginning so you'll know who's who and what's what.

(Most of the questions have already been asked and answered earlier in this thread, and in Sleepers previous thread, so if you haven't read the threads you'll just be repeating old questions that have already been asked and answered many times over already.)

Folks on this thread usually try to be very polite, so its no good to try to 'trash' any one who does not agree with you. If they don't like you, they just won't talk to you anymore. (If you get real bad, the Administrator/Mods might ban you from this website.) If Sleeper, or his pal Milton, gets mad at you, he just won't answer any more of your questions. Sleeper is tempermental, I should know. (Typical human.)

Some folks (spiritual primitives) will hold a grudge, eternally.

So, good luck, and...

Thanks again!

PS: My advice for everyone has always been: Don't believe anything anyone tells you unless you can prove it for yourself. If you can't prove it for yourself, its mere speculation, nothing more.

THanks Rudolph-x, I seem to have just skipped over those little words at the bottom. I started reading this a couple of days ago, it is very dense stuff, so many entries. I am very interested in what these folks have to say, although it has not helped to allay my paranoia. It is nice to be here, though. I have been reading about the UFO phenom for about ten years, but so much seems to be written by the "lunatic fringe". I look forward to reading Sleeper's blog- thanks for shedding light.

Hello TheMayor.

Thanks for your comments.

Oh, and also...

The phrase you use, "In the abundance of water, the fool is thirsty."

These kind of phrases, etc., folks usually put into their 'Signature'.

To do that click on the 'member center' button at the top of the page, then click on 'Account Settings', then near the bottom, in the 'Signature Box', you can type in whatever you want to appear in your 'Signature'. Then click on the 'Submit' button, and the changes will take effect.

This way you won't have to type that phrase in over and over each time you post. It will appear in each of your posts automatically.

Thanks again.

Yes Mayor - - as I say - - It is not that I so much believe Sleeper - - its that I believe ME.

I've had my own experiences - - IMO I doubt our own government came up with compartmentalization - - so I do expect individuals to have varying ET/dimensional experiences - - but just from my own - - Sleeper's "story" rings closer to being in the realm of real experience. It isn't so much what he says - - but how he communicates it.

I'm sure you understand.

THanks again Rudolph-X. I am a bit slow when it comes to computer stuff- I am more Fred Flintstone than George Jetson.

Annee,
I sound like a textbook, I know. My own experiences are hazy at best. I am not even sure about what I "know". I was diagnosed with a REM behavior disorder that is uncommon in people my age (30), something that was anecdotal as a kid. But as I read, I can't help but compare my "dreams" with people that have experienced something more real and profound than simple halucinations.

Sleeper,
Do you really believe that diet has nothing to do with spirituality? Sure, we need the fuel to get us to wherever we are going, but are so many people in so many different ways of life, and I am not just talking vegatarians, that believe in the power of certain foods and the toxicity of others for the soul, how could they (we) all be so misled?

LOL - - Mayor you don't sound like a textbook.

I am an Empath. I Feel things - - you Feel totally natural and of high level compassionate energy.

You come across in print as being a very real person.

Annee,
What is it like to be an Empath- I mean, people have, or should have, a certain level of empathy towards each other and to the Earth, but what makes your level a capital E? Is it a heightened capacity, or is there more to it? Is it something that can be developed further, or are there certain aspects of us that are stronger than others, and we have to just identify?
