And it doesn't make it equally acceptable that you, along with others, continue to fail to mention those numbers of "innocent civilains" (ranging from hundreds of thousands to upwards of a million) that Saddam killed, murdered, tortured, toyed with....all continually and currently being found in mass graves......
Oh, thats right, we are dealing with the "here and now"....not some past events.... those make no difference right?

Nice try seeker, but I don't think that justifies anything. How can you use that example, of course what sadaam did was horrible, but why stop counting, why stop acknowledging the deaths of these innocent people. Nothing you stated supports this move by officials. So, sadaam did it, that make it alright for the US to do the same? I am disappointed in you, I usual like reading your posts

The problem is, this has been the standard operating procedure of the United States since its inception. What do you think happened to the people who were living here before Jamestown and the Mayflower?

America has always been an imperial state, from the Philipines, to Cuba to Guam etc. We have always used our military force to dominate other peoples for the sake of profits for a few people.

No, they make no difference whatsoever. Half a million Tutsis were MASSACRED in Rwanda and the US did absolutely sweet FA. NOTHING.

If Saddam hadn't invaded Kuwait and if he kept being a good little pro-American dictator, we wouldn't be having this discussion. Saddam would be killing who he wanted to, and the US would be turning a blind eye as it did for decades. So save your horseshyte for the stables.

What about 3000 civilians killed in a terrorist attack in New York? Yawn. These terrorists are at war with the US, those 3k people were simple collateral damage, and who cares, right? # happens, and sometimes civilians just die because they're in the way. Boo frickin hoo.

I mean, US lives are far more important than any strange foreign lives, right? Isn't this the whole point? "We will avenge the deaths of those 3000 people killed on September 11th by killing some foreign sons and daughters!"

And to not even RECORD how many civilian casualties occur shows a total disregard for Iraqis, and you'd better believe there are mullahs SCREAMING about this in mosques and inflaming more wackos to attack US troops.

Well, seeker, all I can say is two wrongs don't make a right.

I don't think some are considering the % of Iraqi combat deaths to civilians deaths. Where was the Iraqi army? Where is the Iraqi army? Why did so many civilians have to die. Now the US wants to hide the truth, because if the numers get too big they won't be able to hide them from the gulible citizens of CNN, I mean USA.

Keep saying that crap, it has nothing to do with not counting civilian casualties. Sadaam=bad man, no one is arguing this. Bush=bad man, that's the issue , he is doing exactly what sadaam did, killing innocent people and not evening giving them the respect they deserve. You bring nothing to the topic.
