Why don't you go fly to wherever he's at, hand him some booze money and listen to his bitchin'. It won't help the situation any, but you'll feel better about it. In the end, he'll still be a sorry scoundrel and you'll still have accomplished nothing.
Maybe you could mocve him in with you and feed him for a while. Put your money where your liberal rhetoric is.

That's right. Kick the man when he's down. Kick him HARD! Then go to worship on Sunday.

LMFAO!!!! I about fell off my chair on that one.

"The modern conservative is engaged in one of man's oldest exercises in moral philosophy; that is, the search for a superior moral justification for selfishness."

Intellectual dishonesty from the both of you. You know as well as I do, Devil, that Colonel's high moral listening to the woes of a crack addict for a while and then giving him a bit of cash so the addict can go fry his brain some more does nothing but harm the situation and make Colonel feeeeel good.
Or do you know that?
Stop me if I give you too much credit.

TC while i agree with you 110% on this we are both wrong.

you see we are now in a world where context means more than substance so while colonel actions are doing nothing his INTENTIONS mean everything and even though he is doing nothing but helping the whino drink himself to death the fact he wanted to help him overrides any harm he has done.

i know this makes absolutely no sense at all but this is the world we (they actually) live in.
