Hey Mechanic, have you checked out the PitchDark for Fx theme?

This one looks like it would go awesome with the new ATS theme.PitchDark for FX theme

Can I ask a question?

When I am in my IE, I unticked in the advanced options tab
Reuse windows for launching shortcuts.
This gives me the ability to open as many windows as I like.
and grab any of them and move them around my screen.

I am having trouble in Mozilla with that same function..
I have the tabs.but if I want multiple windows opened
at the same time and ability to move them around my screen

How Do I Do That??

I wish I could help you, but this is the first time i use Mozilla Firefox, I'm still learning how to use it, sorry.

Ex, you could get an extension called "Tab Mix Plus". Possibly, that would do what you would like to do.

I don't have that currenly installed, and I'm not sure if it works with 2.0, but I have used it in the past, to open multiple tabs at the same time, re arrange them, etc.

I'm already starting to like it more than IE, it's way faster and has a better interface.

I guess this is as good a thread for this as any.

I just noticed the new automotive forum. But I cannot post at all in it. No buttons.

I just noticed that my Registration Date has changed by one day. FWIW.

Let me clarify: the date in my user profile and the one in my avatar area are off by one day.

Ok I haven't read the entire thread...24 pages... don't think I'll do it..

...But if nobody's mentioned it before, I'd like to request the "Back to top" link that used to be at the bottom of every page be called back... or at least an option for it to be there available.

Other than that everything looks terrific. I've even stopped accidentally pressing the "submit news" button instead of the "new posts" button... coz it's now the "recent posts" button... hence no confusion with the letters N-E-W-...

If I reply to a post, it goes to my subscription page, which I can find at myats favorites.
BUT, if I want to add to my favorites and not subscribe (by posting or hitting subscribe) it takes me to a control panel with favorites, etc.

However, I can never find the favorites again once off that page.
myATS favorites is the subscription..and member center doesnt have that control strip at the top that shows when you click to add to favorites vs. a subscription...this is confusing. Maybe there shouldnt be a favorites and a subscription button, or the favorites need to be in myATS favorites like the subscriptions.

Clears as mud...?

About my previous post, disregard it. I'm not sure which happened: I just noticed the toolbar at the bottom with links to "Board Home" and "Page Top" among others, or if it just appeared in response to my previous post.

Perhaps I should have a little lie down.

Edit: It's there in some threads, but missing in others... I haven't quite figured out under which circumstances it's there. Or not there. I'll post if I figured it out...

Out of curiosity, will ATS Dark Matter have the ability for approved users to upload VIDEO podcasts?

I would love to make some podcasts for ATS but most of my ideas involve video, rather than strictly sound. I'm sure there's a lot of people out there with video ideas as well. If, like the Fiction area, the only way you could post video is if you're approved, that could help eliminate pr0n and other crap from being uploaded.

Problem:

I am replying to a post. I have an Edit box open.
I type some words.
I switch my color options from Dark to Light (or vice-versa).
The color option changes, and..
Bam! The words I have previously typed in the Edit box are gone.

That problem with the "Edit Post" remains from the previous version.

Apparently it is a difficult problem to solve, it has been ignored for so many months...

I was expecting to see if the problems that I had complained about were solved or not, and not one of them was.

Keep up the good work. I know I was one of the early detractors of the new look, but after the recent work that's been done, it's looking better and better, and geting easier to read. And now that I'm on my home system, where the size, brightness and contrast levels are more...humane...I really dig the new look. I can even use it in Dark Mode at home.
