I was approached by a ship and I went numb, restrained from normal reaction due to shock? Or something else. I don't know.


I'd scream like a little girl.

i'd shake their hand, then ask if they wanted to drink some beer and smoke some reefer with me.

I would Lock & Load, switch to full Auto and give "em" Hell!

I personally don't believe in Aliens, but if they did exist and came in contact with humans, I don't think they would have any warm and fuzzy feelings for us.

Absolutely! Consider the results of so called "Native" populations coming in contact with "Advanced" civilizations. The Native populations are subjugated, enslaved, oppressed, generally taken advantage of, afflicted with unknown diseases or just exterminated.

Look at what happened to the Native Americans, It has been called by some the "American Indian Holocaust". Same thing in South American Native cultures.

No, I think people are fooling themselves when they think that an advanced Alien civilization would have our best interests at heart.

Well.... if they did have the best intentions only to find their backsides filled with buckshot - I'm pretty sure their feelings would change immediately.

I've always found it is better to assume the best about anyone initially. Their true colors would reveal themselves sooner or later.

But that's just me.

If they acted peacefully I would try to establish some form of communication. I'd want to learn all I could from them.

If they seemed hostile I'd get out of there as quickly as possible. Or try to find some way to defend myself.

Either way I'd be very cautious until I could judge how they were going to act.

If I encountered the creature in my home, I would motion for it to interact with my electric piano. Then I would give it a pen and piece of paper.

If all went well, I'd finish my presentation by offering it salvia divinorum.

If it were clearly hostile from the beginning, I would grab my sword, strip down completely, and scream like a barbarian.

iv'e encountered aliens in a very vivid dream a little while back.
they were friendly (although as time went by they seemed to have ulterior plans) but they were great chatting to for a while.
i asked them to speak to me telepathically, then they did, and i heard a 'voice' in my head for the first time, clear as a bell. it was really fascinating. they thought i was interesting that i didn't run away upon being around them. -- one (almost humorously) motioned with his hands in a crude 2 fingers running motion to explain that most people run from them and are frightened.

now, if i were to really meet an alien race - assuming they were of friendly intent, it would be the single most happy day of my life. just getting to do a question and answer session would be one of the greatest gifts i can think of. and if prompted, i'd gladly go "where no man has gone before".

If any of you encounter an alien, it would be too late to take action. If we assume the typical 'grey' aliens are real, they are quite weak in comparison to us and therefore would be prepared for our response (i.e: mind control?) be it fight or flight. If you saw one, it would only be because the alien wanted you to see it. Do you really think you would have the ability to make a choice?

Now on the off chance that I caught an alien off guard, I would take advantage of the situation and beat the living crap out of the thing. I don't like them. If they were friendly why do they hide themselves and mutilate our animals, not to mention abduct us etc? If they had just introduced themselves in the beginning, then none of the paranoia about them would exist today. Or maybe thats what they want???

If you ever saw an alien, i bet it wouldn't just want to say "hello"!

I have had many utterly frightening yet enlightening expierences with psychoactive plant matter (no need to name the specific ones, some of which are extremely difficult to obtain) and the common factor in these expirences has been a sort of interdimensional communication with entities and beings, in most cases the "heart of the plant", due to psyche being strong enough to handle this well, i believe I would have enough mental fortitude (and childlike wonder) to meet with Ets* Of course I would try verbal communication first, then sign language, then visual aids, like drawing*
I kind of believe preparing humanity for such communication may be the purpose for some plants

My reaction would depend on which Alien i'm aproached by, if he seems hostile(mainly grey aliens), firstly i would pray for protection and ask for forgiveness for my sin because right after that i would be using my semi-automatic shotgun on their heads,then i would probably take their laser guns and use it as a lighter for my ciggys

the only time u will be approached by an alien is when you take your 2nd hit of acid.

I mean do you hoenstly belive aliens would be that different. i'm sure if we were to wake up tommorow and there was a new country on earth that was full of aliens, and they became part of our society..people would almost forget about them once they got used to the shock of there actually being "other" beings.

once you knew they were around, it wouldn't be that shocking to see an alien in a business suit, talking on a cell phone at a resurant in manhattan. aliens are not really a big deal to me, they strike me more as just normal people, from a different place.

so yeah that would be the first thing i'd say, then as long as he didn't try to kill me..no matter what his response to my offer was, i would strike up a conversation with him.

I see aliens everyday here in SW florida, mostly cuban and haitian refugees.

Or did you mean extra-terrestrial interstellar travellers?

Cause if i met some of them i would just engage them in conversation. ask them how long they had been here.. what they had learned.. and what they thought of us. and i would ask if they had any cool experiments they wanted to do to me that would give me any crazy abilities like slowing down time, telekenesis, or the ability to get a decent meal at a wafflehouse.. now that would be power
