Yep. I have never had one like that before. And I'm not really big into alien stuff. I haven't read much on it lately, nor watched any TV shows on it lately. Not even Men In Black (the movie) in a very long time.

I've had intense lucid dreams latley of the sky being filled with large geometric shaped craft...some cubic, some triangular...but all massive, filling the sky. People were running scared not so much because anything bad was happening, but out of just plain fear of the insane sight.

I too belive there is somthing stirring in the collective unconciousness...I think we are slowly (and have been since the 40's) being introduced to the idea...

When major media outlets allow people like this to speak their piece, it signals to me that we might be quite a bit closer to having our first contact than I ever thought. Interesting. I've been wanting to have the alien question answered.

In another thread on ats I talked about a group that bush pissed off that he shouldnt have. Mark my words on what im about to tell you there's major black opps going down right now. And not talking about a minor bus accident type deal either.

I agreed with spacific parties not to discuss this issue alot of people are saying bush wont be impeached exc exc. Take my word for this there is more going on then anyone can possibly imigine. We may very well be on the verge of having this over 100 year old secret come out.

I don't believe Nick Pope at all. To me he's not a bad guy, but his contribution to understanding the UFO phenomenon is not as great as portrayed. Three years in the MOD is fine and he has read some interesting UFO reports, but what is different about what he knows and what knowledge most people can figure out on their own if they study the past, well documented, UFO reports? I appreciate his voice and the credibility he brings...but he has never put forward any "inside" information that has gotten us that much closer to the truth.

If aliens are doing recon, and plan to invade...what the hell would anyone do? All we could hopefully do is nuke the planet and kill ourselves and hope that they don't have the technology to clean up the radiation the next day. The rumors already exist of us telling the aliens that. But they could just as easily release a virus, a gas, gamma radiation, darken our atmosphere, or any other mundane invasion techniquie to kill us.

I think Nick is trying to either rally the common man to pressure the government to pry the door open a little more or he's just trying to get some PR for a forthcoming new book. Good luck Nick!

George Noory interviewed, for one night's show a few weeks ago, the guy who co-authored George's book. This guy said that he has it from a credible source that there very well may be a large-scale media disclosure in the coming weeks and months.

OK. If there are really unidentified craft about it would they seem to have not been aggressive, so far. Who knows whether they are extraterrestrial or some earthling technology yet to be revealed?

Whatever their origin what is their purpose? As I see it they could be:

1) reconnaissance craft. Like any recon its in and out. Armament is not that important and even if you had it, you don't advertise your presence.

2) merely explorer craft. Whatever technology they have you would have expected that there is a physical limit on the amount of mass, weight volume you can play with (We did not land on the moon expecting firefights with lunar beings). They may actually be on the limit of their technology visiting here.

Their interest in military bases could be just that military technology is at the forefront (well except the British:lol and whatever detection methods they have may pick this up.

I do wonder if it is all just a gradual escalation to eventually reveal themselves Good or bad.

It must be said that if Mr Popes cases are correct, then these are two cases in an Island of 60 million people. Not a great hit rate. These are only eyewitness accounts no real demonstrable evidence really. . They seem fascinating as they say, but really personally I would have to see one land and its occupant tell me their name was Klatu from Planet Anthrax. Even then I would need witnesses and pictures / videos / sounds to confirm later. I know how subjective the mind can be.

Another thought is that I hope their approach is different to that of man. To the most part man explores new worlds, introduces themselves to the locals, then enslaves and conquers them...well us pinky Anglo-Saxons do anyway.

And to be honest looking at the conflict between races and beliefs here, would you want to talk to us? Intelligent life in space, lets find some here first!!

I personally wouldn't take what he has to say seriously or anyone who says we're "At war with aliens.. etc" and other cliche government official/nut statements.

If one steps outside of the box and thinks about it briefly, if they wanted to kill us it would of happened a long long time ago. However, that's not the case.

I personally tend to be of the belief that if the aliens were to invade with ill intent, they would have done it a long time ago.
What would they possibly want from us?
-Slaves? No, I am sure they have robotic technology that is superior to ours that could work in the mines.
-Our resources? No, why would they need our resources when they have all of space at their disposal.
-The newest microsoft updates? No, I'm sure their computers don't need Bills OS.
-Our genes? They probably have all the Human genes they need.

Now, genetics, perhaps that is what they want. Since we are killing the planet and the animals are going extinct at a crazy rate, perhaps they are collecting a library of all the genetic samples, or perhaps these aliens are pulling a Noah and collecting species before we can wipe them out. Do they have another planet to put them on? If their spaceships are in fact 2-3 miles in size, perhaps the animals live inside the ships?
Supposing the tether incident, the UFO's looked like pond water under a microscope, dozens of them, dozens, estimated to be 2-3 miles wide.
You could call them space zoos, a safe place for Earth's biodiversity.

Hmmm, perhaps they are waiting to get all their samples in before the Earth shattering kaboom? They will fry all the Eathlings off the surface, till us all in and re-terraform it again from scratch.
Then try the experiment again with a new human, Homo-notsosapiens. And then they will see if they have more common sense and figure out a way to adapt to not poop in our own sustenance.

I tend to believe they seeded simple biological organisms on Earth when it looked like mars, except with water, and from there, you get the Flora and Fauna of the world, and other biological life, and they were genetically altering the most hominoid bipeds, and the last major genetic gift from them was a bigger brain.

It explains how we're always looking for that missing link. I think genetically altered neanderthals mated with older neanderthals and thats how the evolution chain was working. Think about it.. we're the only consciously aware animals on this planet as far as we're concerned.

I don't believe we are going to be attack by aliens but if we were there would be nothing we could do to stop them. Everyone seems to think that if aliens wanted us dead they would come down here and fight us in some "war of the worlds" style. If an alien race with vastly superior technology traveled thousands or maybe millions of light years across space it seems likely they would also have the military technology to wipe out the human race from the safety and comfort of outer space. I do not even believe they would have to enter our solar system to fire the first shot. We would probably never see them. We would die and not understand why.

Sorry people, I am so not convinced about the theories on aliens and ufos. I don't doubt that life exists elsewhere in the universe, probably equal to or not far off being similar to life on earth, but of course, that depends upon the conditions of each planet, it minerals and resourse and its distance from its sun. However, aliens ever having visited this planet...I can't bring myself to accept. No big deal...

I think this news item, along with others, are meant to evoke a sense of threat, like the terrorist threats. While you're dancing from foot to foot, wondering about the threat, and which other civil liberties to allow to be eroded, those in power are s'n-word'ing at you (I don't care who's in power). Military and arms is tthe biggest business of all, it makes vast profits for the top two percent of a countries and its industrial companies. Of course, people have to die under the banners of enemy and collatteral damage, but hey...that's business.

Hahaha I think the unprecedented amounts of UFO sightings every year, some consisting of glowing objects, shape shifting objects or saucer shaped objects preforming unconventional maneuvers such as 90 degree turns, at unrivable speed by conventional aircraft.

If you try to throw the theory out there that they might be U.S. Government black projects... we have yet to develop technology that would allow humans to withstand such G-forces.

My dream was about two weeks ago. But I couldn't see who the attackers were as we were hiding in piles of hay.

I knew they were right there on the ground looking for anyone they could find, and were only a few feet from us. And there were a lot of them.

Only had the dream once.

Oh I think there is plenty of proof. What is in question is their intentions.

I noticed that UFO's become WAY more frequent following humanities discovery of nuclear energy. specifically, ahortly after the first atom bomb tests. Know, if they were spacefaring race, then I doubt nuclear weapons are a threat to them. Radiations of space are far more extreme then in nuclear weapons.

I think if they were hostile, they would of obliterated us long ago.

so that only leaves two explanations....

they are biding their time because they need some part of us and dont want to obliterate everyone.

or

they are peaceful and are merely observing us.

The other night I dreamt of UFO's invading.
I actually have these dreams on a regular basis. I see lights coming in the sky, then more lights, I run and hide, or help other people hide.
I had one a few montha ago, where I hid in the woods and then behind a bush with leaves on the ground !

The strangest dream I had, was in a Hotel in Hawaii in 1999. I dreamt aliens were taking tourists onto the beach and were dipping clubs or sticks into buckets of a silvery-gray liquid lead (if there even is such a thing), and were smearing it all over my legs. They said it was to guard off radiation. Then we were awoken by the TV coming on really loud, the clock radio buzzing and the clock was blinking, and the power was out in the Hotel. I didn't say anything to my family, but then my daughte said "I'm glad the power went out and woke us up, because I was having a nightmare we were being chased by UFO's and they were taking those people we met last night". That was a bit scary ! I even had to go to the doctor there, because I had a horrible rash on my legs. My skin was all red and bubbly. I still have scars, that are now little tiny white dots.

When I was in this doctors office, I could overhear this woman, maybe in another room, saying "I just woke up this mornig, and this rash was.....". Then some nurse started crackling paper really loud and I couldn't hear the rest of what she said.

Probably all coincidence, and maybe the rash was caused by plankton in the ocean, which someone later suggested to me it may have been. But it is still odd me and my daughter had the same dream, and that the power went out.
