With his bloody money, he was nommed senator in 52. He supported the civil war in Vietnam and the war that led to the invasion and killed 58.000 US and 3 millions vietnamese.

They should all, the generations who comitted crimes, go to jail for life and be waterboarded. We know your crimes, we'll punish you.

On the subject, martial law is not good, and i'll fight it if it ever come, I'll die free, that's for sure.

Anyway, this is really disturbing. Especially since the dems approved this in congress as well. I am begining to think all those rants and raves about bush being a dictator werent as far fetched as I initially thought.

What's so sick about this is that most members of Congress are so busy campaigning in the hope that they'll keep their jobs that they are not even taking the time to read the contents of most bills.

They voted for the Title of this Bill. Doh!

If the president declares Martial Law, that act officially suspends our rights under the Constitution including our right to bear arms.

Congress then has NO RECOURSE for at least 6 months.
Under the Executive Order, they are powerless to overturn the decision.

This is bad stuff so the American People better start paying attention.

We need to keep something important in mind.

Even if there is a landslide in favor of a Democratic majority, those election results do not take effect

I find myself argeeing with you more and more. JFK was a good man, its a shame he had to die. I am not entirely convinced he wasnt about to reveal something of major importance to the American people and was assasinated because of it.

Bush's military industrial crony's are going to milk this presidency for all it's worth as long as they can.

Then Bush and Company will retire in lavish comfort leaving their mess to a Democratic administration.

dgtempe... it would impose a curfew, it would have military and police all over the place, no more constitution, certainly they'll use it to round up political dissidents they have already on lists, death penalty for certains crimes even if it's not said in the law... they decided which law allow death penalty, no habeas corpus, they would take arms, torture, the country would be under the president autority + FEMA.

It's ``funny`` on Wikipedia, they say that if the writ of Habeas Corpus is no more, it's a form of martial law...so basicly, the military comission act IS martial law to aliens, 20 millions people in the US under martial law...NOW. And if we apply the definition of martial law about the suspension of Habeas Corpus to the entire world, if anyone do or not something against the US have no right of Habeas Corpus... so everyone in the world except the US citizens are under partial martial law...Global government? It doesn't exist? Yeah right.

Well all the pieces are now in place to turn Ameriaca into a dictatorship, its very likely that Bush and Co are planning the next big terrorist event, one that requires the imposition of martial law.
