No razor,

you have to use the extension that matches the game page you're playing.

The original page was [ .org ] ,

later in the game another site with [ .com ] became playable,

but the [ .ext ] has to match [ site.org/answers.org ] or [ site.com/answers.com]

Hope that didn't confuse things further.

I think Crakeur has it laid out correctly... nice research

SupremeSkepticOverlord –> William -> SO

'First name on ATS' should be SSO in some format… perhaps some unique way of typing it in as the answer (?)

'William' used to be 'Supreme Skeptic Overlord'
www.abovetopsecret.com...

William is obviously predecessor to SO (no direct reference to SO below, but obviously the same ATS tech yoda)

SO reference here in post text

Anomaly…

Val calls him “Bob” here…

Oh jeez, I've been looking into this for hours, had links open to an old discussion forum called "Political Conspiracy Forum" where SSO first registered, and a number of other things.

Go back to read the question, and whaddya know>? What was his first name on AboveTopSecret.com?!!!!!!

Great job by Crakeur, digging up all the old posts, and Zarniwoop summarizing everything.

Don't think there's any question that "Supreme Skeptic Overlord"="William"="Skeptic Overlord". However I haven't been able to find a record of a registered user with the handle "Supreme Skeptic Overlord".

But compare the profile of William
web.archive.org...

with the profile of TheyreHere
web.archive.org...

Pretty much identical. Unfortunately still doesn't work, so I have no idea what they're looking for. Unless they mean three names besides "Skeptic Overlord", and there's another name out there.

I really hope someone gets this soon so we can move on.

if theyrehere = sso=william = SO then that is 4 names which would lead us to either Simon or Springer. Simon was listed as simon gray back in the infancy stages of the site (see the web archive I posted earlier). He might have started the forums with a different name (I tried abovetopsecret) as a test but I can't find anything on it.

Springer, via U2U, says he has always been known as springer but he's been known to lie like a mf when it comes to these games (kidding springer). With that, his mood is I Love M.G.A. or something like that. M.G.A. could be one of two things. Either a reference to his original member name (his initials are M.A.) or possibly to his brother, who I recall recently passed away. I'm leaning toward the message being in honor of his brother.

which leads me back to Simon and SO. I hate them both at this point and since SO is in my town, I will track him down and beat the answer out of him.

perusing web.archive.org...
for thoughts. There is Simon Gray but Springer and SO (in any of the three known variants) don't seem to be around so perhaps we can find them in here.

someone could maybe start a thread calling on the original members but they,d have to state that there was a prize up for grabs..

BTW Did you notice the link said BABOVETOPSECRET.
Did you try all the guys on the link page too?

My efforts sucked. In fact they were the suckiest bunch of sucks that ever sucked.
I,ll see what the next round brings before trying for a bonus prize
