I am going to start with a simple body shape for my first one. No skull and cross bones guitar shapes...........at least for the first couple tries.

I may even eventually try for a plexiglass guitar. I have always thought the Dan Armstrong plexi guitars were very cool.

When I worked at a tool factory in Colorado and ran the annealing furnaces, I decided to make an enclosure for my homemade distortion pedal. I borrowed the welder from the maintenance man on my break to weld up the enclosure out of 1/4 inch steel plate. After a while the maint. man came to get his welder and saw my pedal enclosure. He came over and hefted in his hand and proclaimed "This is a heavy metal pedal". He did not know how true that was.

Ok, how's this for punk?

Ibanez Soundgear GSR205

Peavey TKO 75, minus the amp (blew it right before we had to go play a show... sucked)

Shure SR 105 series PA amp (not alot of power, but...)

here's the kicker:
DOD FX40-B EQ pedal... this is my "pre-amp"

Hey, it gets the job done, and actually sounds decent! Right now I'm more worried about getting a decent ext. sound card and a mixer so we can get better recordings.
