WHO PLAYS GUITAR: Whats rigs do you have?

At the moment I have:

A Fender Jaguar, with a Boss Ds-1 distortion pedal, A BiggMuff disrotion pedal and a Dane Electro milkshake chorus pedal. I use Marshal amplification.

I am primarily a bassist, so most of my money is spent there.

I have a Les Paul 5 string, a Rickenbacker 4003 S Fireglo and an older fretless Fender Jazz.
They all run through an Ampeg BA-210SP.

The neighbors LOVE me.

I have a 1986 Jap strat which is smooth as silk. I also have a Ernie Ball musicman which I love, but it's not as nice as the strat.

I have a fender tele-acoustic, which is an acoustic telecaster. I also have an ovation which is farked, something fell on the neck and broke my heart. I also have a black stravius acoustic (nasty, made in spain) which I keep in the tuning for "Rain Song" by Zeppelin.

I have a roland 200 watt valve amp (jazz-chorus or something like that) into this, I plug my korg dsp box of tricks (chorus, delay, fx, etc).

I love my strat best, though. I'm going to buy a banjo or a mandolin soon, I'm not sure which.

I also play piano, drums, bass. My wife says I have too much stuff I never play. What does she know?

Strats are really cool. You both have some cool stuff. I really want to get a Jag-stang and a telecaster. They are my other favourite guitars.

Well i have a Jackson Esp(I think cos i havent used it in ages)i also have a Boss Metal Pedal and a Peavey amp i also have a small Yamaha amp.

i JUST got one of these yesterday when i got back from the Husker- K-state game:





mine is deep dark blue instead of the yellowish orange. ill paste a pic of mine if i gety a chance.

I've got an Ibanez GAX 70, a Squire Jazz bass, a stupid little Boss DS-1 distortion pedal, got the GAX plugged into a little suire 15 amp and the squire in a nice little Ibanez Sound Wave 20 amp. I really, really want to get a Fernandes Strat -drools- and a Gibson SG...man..I love those guitars. I almost got a 7 string Ibanez...then I felt like a freak when I picked it up at the local guitar store. Never again.

Hey man! DS-1 distortion pedals rock!!

They are so well made they are just a metal box that you can stamp until your hearts content. They are cheap and they have such a variable sound its great. Also used on Nevermind and In Utero by Nirvana.

My 3 main pedals...a DS-1, a Tube Screamer, and a CryBaby...get some phat effects from those three...

Yeyh the Jag is my dream guitar and I love the way it sounds. ( plus of course I am a huge Nirvana fan but regardles of that I'd still have got it) Its been a dream for sounds but it has a tendancy to #ing break. I reccommend getting a different bridge put in but I havn't got the money. It cost about �750 and I'm still paying for it every month!

...currently just some cheap crappy Strat Copy *well, its okay, but nothing overly good* and a Linebacker amp that ain't even worth mentioning Sold my good gats and amps when I needed some cash fast...such is life. But at the time had a mid-80s Gibson Flying V...as well as some el-cheapo custom Sierra headless bass which actually sounded bloody phat. Had a Peavey Twin amp and a decent Fender amp.

I've been tempted recently by a nice Rickenbacker Bass, but its a little too pricey, even for a Rickenbacker...though the same shop has a reasonably priced Les Paul Custom... *drools*

Shame you had to sell you stuff. I love those flying V guitars they are super cool! I think you should go out and treat yourself, you know theres nothing like new musical equipment. There must be more people on ATS who play guitar, I'm interested tto know what everyone plays!!

That Les Paul is just honey man...such a sweet as rich sound, nice low action, throws pinch-harms like they are going outa style...gees I'm drooling just thinking about it again

...hehehe...its a bit like Waynes World...I often go past the store and stare longingly at in through the window "It will be mine...oh yes, it will be mine" ...or go in and take it for a 'test-drive'...salesperson doesn't mind as he knows/sees how much I respect it and don't treat it harsh.

I play a POS crap bitch guitar. But, I am not all that good so it suits me. I dunno what the frock it is reall. Just a cheap little thing.

I do have plans on getting an ESP Flying V based on the green flame ESP that James Hetfield plays. That's some sweet equipment. I also have a Marshal Amp (my fave) lined up from a friend of mine. Not too sure on specifics right now though. Just know its a nice cabinet setup with about 300 watts. BLOWOUT....... damn I love having no neighbors.

Yeh man that would be a great choice. I've always thought the Metallica guitar sound was really good.

i know i jezzed my pants when i got it.
its a $400 dollar guitar but i got it for $225. the guy who owned itr before me had it for like a week then got rid of it. the only thing scratched is the pick guard but i can replace that in no time.
