You are quite welcome. Anything that I can do to try and help someone understand, I do.

The strange thing is, we all return, or our spark returns to the creator. in this case, what speaker calls the spirit returns to God.

This happens with all people and even certain animals, like those without hooves, I've gathered from some Old Testament books on what should and shouldnt be eaten; this is because of the animal having a spirit i think they're trying to say. A sense to hunt, curiosity, and a personality .. like dogs and cats.

So maybe we really do cease to be as we know it when we return, and if we all become One when we do return, that would be some strange experience.. would it feel like you were just one entity, or that there were multiple entities within one entity making statements and vying for control or decision within that entity?

Well, I agree. However, this "loss of identity" isn't really something to fear because the whole will be conscious of who and what we were. Therefore, we will still exist in the consciousness of the whole. You see?

soul is who you are and where you come from (within yourself), a part where you came from (your family), and a part what you made yourself. Only through knowing oneself can one make oneself. A spirit that is where it came from does not know itself.

spirit is what you do, what you want, how you are. Through action others know us. A sick spirit is one that lets others control it. If your actions are not yours, we do not know you.

See, to me, the "soul" is a manifestation of the physical world, not the spiritual. What we call ourself in life is not the spirit... It is the soul.... Our soul, as I said in the original post is an agalamation of physical emotion.... The spirit does not have emotion that we would recognize. The closest thing that a spirit feesl to emotion is love. That is the only emotion we experience after our "demise." All of the other emotions that drive us, envy, lust, anger, fear, hatred, et cetera....die with the soul because the soul is directly linked to the physical body. The spirit is what animates, not the soul.
