Just a myth??

It's true a group of people could be "required". Although I'm not of the mindset that this is real anyway. I am however, open to finding out. As I said, I will go somewhere with several other people and attempt this for the third time. I honestly don't think there is anything to these boards. I'm beginning to think that anyone who "sees" or "experiences" anything, have just fabricated the experience out of necessity. Like I said before, you can see or witness "anything" if you really want to.

Have you heard that if you ask the spirit if it believes in Jesus, it goes crazy, I only heard this on another thread here on ats, it would be interesting if you could slip that in on your next go at it!!!

Also, make sure none of your friends will move the glass!!!

You hit the nail on the head, to those that want to believe there is always something that you did wrong or something wasn't right, it's never ok well it does not work and there's nothing to it. And eventually if you try it enough times and something mildly interesting happens it has to be related to the paranormal, never mind the other multiple dull sessions.

Think about it: You're trying to contact the spiritual world with a material object.
It's not like picking up the telephone and ringing up your mother for a nice conversation.
People who don't believe in ghosts usually never see them. Their minds aren't open enough on some level to accept the possibility.

I don't think you have to have a group though (unless there's someone there whose very open minded or believes.)

So if the ouja is a myth to you that's what it will be. Just a myth. Along with mirrors, crystal balls, screeing glasses etc. etc...

To make my point I'm going to respond in this manner, and yes I know I'm being a pain.

When you make something so open to personal interpretation and feeling it loses all credibility, now my mind has to be "open"? Whatever that is. What's next? You need special magical blood?

I'm gonna have to agree with some of the other posters. Why should I have to be "open". This once again goes back to only seeing and experiences what you want to. I'm starting to believe things of that nature are but a figment of the users imagination. Some strange phenomanon brought on by the users state of mind, their wanting so deeply of something to happen.

While I'm "starting" to think this way, I do not yet believe it for sure. That is why I will continue my experiments and try to make contact using one of these boards. I will be trying again tommorow evening with three other people. I will keep a log book of all activity, (not only during the test but before and after as well) I may also set up a video camera just in case something happens.

There is a large part of me that hopes something really does happen. This is one area in which I wouldn't be upset to be proven wrong.

Well, just thought I would update you guys. I have tried using the board two more times, in two different locations, with different groups of people. There were no results in either situation. That makes a total of four times I have used this board now. I have done so each time under many different circumstances and settings, all of which came from this thread. Still nothing has happend. My conclusion is that there is nothing at all to the Ouji board, and anyone who sees or witnesses something while using one, is only projecting it from their subconcous.

I'm not sure if there is anywhere else for this thread to go now. Does anyone else have anything?

This has been an interesting and entertaining thread and I'm glad you're open minded enough to try these "experiments". Even though your "conclusions" may not be agreed with by all of us.

Wow its strange that you would ask me that question just now.My friend yesterday took me to investigate an old ruined house which we took some pictures and video.He is one person that told me that he always heers strange noises in his house ever since he used a ouija board.Just 20 minutes ago I discovered one picture that has a bright Orb in front of my friend(following him possibly).This was shot with ordinary camera,no night vision LED on it.I never believed in Orbs before but could be they do exist.We just did this video for fun yesterday but the last picture shows the ORB.....

Hmm.. I'm not sure about that. I beleive that is just a bright glare coming in from that window. Notice how bright the light was coming throught the holes in the wall. Also, the other walls have a sort of shine to them anyway. I would say that the orb you see is nothing more than a bright glare coming in from outside. Who knows though?

It is possible that it was a hole in the wall but it does look like it could be something floating there too,hard to say,I need to see if my friend got it on his camera too.The only other weirdness was something bumping inside a wall upstairs in the bedroom but could be some animal.Otherwise a very creepy place.Anyway I just found a cell phone video that shows paranormal faces at 54 and 55 seconds if you pause it they look very convincing,what do you all think?

That is another example of the same thing. The super bright light shining behind her is what is causing that. If the footage wasn't so grainy and pixelated you wouldn't be able to see anything at all. It's just a trick of the light there.

You mentioned a movie earlier.

Remember the hit horror movie Urban Legend? It has 2 sequels.

Urban Legend 3: Bloody Mary is possibly a movie you want to watch.

It goes through the legend a fair bit, whilst spilling the blood of teenage bimbos of course.
