The downside of Occam's Razor is its inability to address the hard questions, such as when we don't even know what the answers are supposed to look like.

For example, if it were for Occam's Razor SQM (strange quark matter) would never have snuck into interpretation of data for certain seismic events here on Earth simply because it is so improbable. But with SQM the data has a good fit.

It doesn't mean it is right, it is just a theory. Occam's Razor has its place and should not be applied universally or in special cases when we need to get out of the box.

Thank you Zorgon for that paper

Have to spend some time on those when I get a chance. The camera is moving as they snap the panorama 360 degrees I think, so that will be a factor. The "glitch" I enlarged has a lot of detail for lens glare. I will look at it closer and see if can find others... Its at least worth a look...

Just going through some moon pictures off of the NASA site and came accross some anomalies. Was looking for a second opinion on this one...

Heres a link to the original Picture:
apod.gsfc.nasa.gov...

This next image is zoomed in with no enhancments:
www2.filehost.to...

And finally this one has red lines added by myself for visual aid:
www2.filehost.to...

Does anyone else see numbers in this picture? I know it could just be my imagination but I found it very interesting that I could see what appeared to be many of the numbers from our numeric system in these pictures...

Please also use the original picture and zoom in using microsofts default picture viewer as for some reason there is a lot of pixelation when zooming into the original using Photoshop, and quality loss when I save the final product in Paint for some reason.

Looking forward to some insite on this one.

Next up...

Here you can see two different NASA pictures (Same picture, just released on their site at two different times). The picture on the left was I believe the original picture they put up but in my opinion they edited the background out for some reason (blackout). The picture on the right is the same picture, released more recently but with a defferent file number attached for some reason. Upon enhancing in Photoshop something strange showed up for me. In the original it becomes evident that it was blacked out for some reason which makes one wonder, are the tying to hide something? So I altered the color fields in the second picture only to find that the messed up and didnt black the background out again before releasing it. So IMHO whatever they were trying to hide in the orginal is what shows up in the background of the picture on the left. I was really excited to find such a huge anomaly in the un edited picture.

I really hope that I have stumbled onto something here. It isnt everyday that you get to see an edited picture of NASA's get re-released in unedited format and thus be able to examine the two side by side looking for what they were hiding to begin with.

Also, you are all invited to go through the same motions that I went through to discover this for yourself. All you need to do is go to NASA's main site and do a search for the file number of each picture as posted in the upper right hand corner of each picture. Then open up Photoshop and start messing with the color balance and the anomaly will pop right out at you! This is very exciting

Lets see what you guys think...

Next up, Farside of the Moon Anomalies...

This first link is a zoomed in area or the highest rez image of the farside of the moon that shows a cigar shaped white anomaly that has also been blurred out by the NASA henchmen:

In this second link have circled the area for visual aid:

It can truly be said that Truth is Stranger than Fiction...

While seeking through NASA's collection of images of other Moons... I found this one...

I just couldn't resist... I had to do it... colorize it I mean...

If we live on Mother Earth, then perhaps this is Daughter Iapetus?

Yes, that is exactly what this is. It took me a little while to get oriented because you don't often see a view like this. Nice shot!

Nice farside by Apollo 16. Yes, those look like numbers but just by coincidence. At about 9:30 is Mare Crisium just to the right of that is Mare Marginus and below that Mare Smythii. About a quarter of the way down from the top just to the left of center is a black bottomed crater. That is Lomonsonov. Just to the south of that crater is where we found the farside city and space port. This particular photo has received a lot of airbrushing.

Here is the Apollo 8 photo of the farside (AS8-12-2209) where we found the city and the spaceport. Notice the 'white ejecta' that NASA uses to obscure huge buidings and towers:

Here is an Apollo 16 photo of the farside. The green square shows the area covered by the 'white ejecta' in the Apollo 8 photo above. It seems that NASA did not use as much 'white ejecta' on photos that showed a larger area. Maybe it was too difficult to get that 'white ejecta' to look real:

Those are some good points you have there John and an excellent picture I might add
Curious about something though... You are obviously farmiliar with the one good photo going around of the far side which appears to have been pieced together in strips from north to south correct? That is the most interesting photo I have seen as far as the moon goes for the high amount of shading/blurring NASA has done to it. I can illustrate at least 3-4 crators they have squared off and blurred out as well as about 10+ areas with blurred out anomalies, cut and pasted areas ans just spots where it looks like they randomised the area. I will post it with visual aids if you are interested in helping me persue this angle.

This pair is from the old Clementine Data set... they distributed those pixelated crappy images for years, telling us this was as good as it got, yet all the time they had full color high resolution images. I assume you have seen those?

If not they are in the other thread...

www.abovetopsecret.com...

which we seem to have been ignoring lately BTW

But that full moon north polar view is great.

I will look over the rest of your set tomorrow

oh awesome. I've been looking for such a pic for awhile. the north and south poles are always shown as stretched mercator maps. look at all the things IN the craters. round things, inside, the craters. odd squarish things, in the craters. too bad it wasn't closer up!

That strange looking color image I posted earlier to titilate the audience is actually a real view of Iapetus, Moon of Saturn... well according to NASA anyway...

I put together what I had for Iapetus so far, but I know there are more anomalies out there... I had planned to start that some time ago and it seems there have been a few requests

The collection is here... the start of it anyway

IAPETUS MOON OF SATURN

IO MOON OF JUPITER

If anyone has any other anomalies send them over... its a big Solar System

IAPETUS THE TOWER

DEATH STAR REVISITED
I wonder how you open the two halves...

the pic Zarniwoop reposted of Copernicus has alot of anomalous objects in it, in the foreground. Here's just a few:

mount rushmore of the moon with associated rectangular structures on the ground at the base of it

Close up of above, with brightness/contrast adjusted to see it better

Looks like an entire worksite or habitat.

Square structure covered partially by what we are supposed to believe is lunar regolith. Also other odd structures in the area

Nice. Here's an excerpt from the first image, the south pole picture source. Almost at the pole. i've just turned up the light a bit to see if anything was around that central crater and yep

here it is in the setting. i've highlighted the area in yellow.

Okay now that is very close to where I found the +'s or X's and the perfect rectanglular shapes in the craters. However the images Im using off Nasa's site messup the exact South area and worse in the North. But Yeah there are a lot of straight lines and shapes associated with hand made objects which seem to pop out in many places upon closer review. If you look close you see three X structuree/shapes but one has details or sphere like conjoining parts. Odd to say the least.

Edit: Upon applying Nasa's own measurement tool on the X shaped structure's in Nasa World Wind the most pronounced Nothern one measures 6.25 km. Is that considered a city or a base or mother ships or what. Thats huge.

Good morning Masisoar.
Obviously you disagree with something I have posted. I wondered if you would take the time to explain what it is that irritated you so much?

Thanks,
