I slapped together 3 more wallpapers... sent ya two more emails chissler, dunno if ya got em.

I can't wait to see what you guys come up with...

X I had recieved an email with 2 submissions that I don't think I have sent confirmation but rest assured that your entries are safe.

Only a few more days people, we should try to push this for a few days.

If we get some serious attention over the next day or so maybe we can extend it a week. Of course only if members step up and are attempting to make an entry. If not, we will move ahead with what we got and award our prizes.

If the competition were to end right now, I would be more than satisfied with the level we have reached in our entries.

Alright well I am going to officially close the competition.

I will pass the submissions along to the judges and try to have the results in a few days. Hopefully we can get these asap, but we need to understand our judges are people too!

I've just browsed through all of the submissions and I am amazed by some of the submissions. There was 3 different categories, so a few members had multiple submissions, all of which have been accepted.

No thanks is needed but I do appreciate it.

All submissions have been passed onto the judges, once I recieve word back I will post all the entries along with the judges decisions.

The Awards:


1st Place: 20,000 Points

2nd Place: 5,000 Points

3rd Place: 2,000 Points

Patience is our virtue.

It may take a few days for the results to fall in, but I promise you the moment I have them, you will have them.

I should inform our competitors now the format for judging.

A judge and myself have consulted and we have agreed on this scheme:

Entries will be judged on 3 aspects,

Artistic Ability

Pertinence to the Category

Originality

You will be ranked from 1-5 on each. 1 being the lowest and 5 being the highest and 15 being the best attainable score.

We have had a good amount of entries, but not enough in each category to award a winner in each. So we are looking for an overall winner, followed with a second place and third place finisher.

Time will tell who comes out on top.

Yes, some competitors did submit an entry in all three categories.

However, the numbers are not going to permit us to have a winner in each category. I left it open in the early stages so that if we had a large number of posts per category, we could award them for each. It did not turn out like we had hoped. Although we have a good number of submissions, were not looking at a huge number in each category.

So the judges and I have agreed on three overall winners. Additional points are at our disposal if we wish to use them, but that is comletely at their discretion.
