also, for the chupacabra...even though i doubt it's existence...according to Dracmoor (whas it dracmoor?), the chupacabra may be smart and small and stuff... everything I've heard is that it's extremely fast. maybe if aliens exist or chupacabras, they may have been mistaken for each other?

now isn't he cute!

Big Foot(All Other Big Apes)- Used to be yes, but I read a book about a mountaineer who went in search of a yeti. He found that at least *some* Yeti reports pertain to an extremely rare breed of bear which is almost extinct in the himalayas. He did track one down.

Nessie(All Other Dinos or Seamonsters)- Probably more things Akin to the Coleceanth (sp?) possibly other similar finds. Absolutely no nessie or lake monsters, period.

Chupa- Not read enough into this.

Dragons- No

Vampires- No

The only one I currently believe in unconditionally, is/are the big cats of england.

Except that thread isn't really discussing proof of any kind is it? Just some (outlandish) unsubstancisted claims.

Big Foot/Sasquatch/Yeti/etc.: Without a doubt.

Nessie: No
. People, cameras, and all sorts of sensory equipment are studying that small body of water from every concievable angle, and the only "evidence" I've ever seen are small ripples of water, and some air bubbles.

Chupa: The jury is still out on this one
,but one thing is for sure- Something very strange is going in South America and parts of Mexico.

Dragon: Others have already referred to this, but the dragon is nothing more than a creature manifested in the primitive pysche of man. It bears all the traits of of the most frightening aspects of the animal kingdom. From scales to horns, and massive claws. The ability to breathe fire, and ambush from above like a massive bird of prey. Ancient man would come across the remains of relics from prehistoric eras, and his imagination would run wild. I also find it strange that once man began to develop technology, those creatures in the sky became UFOs. (How do you explain strange lights in the sky to primitive man - FIRE!)

Vamps:
This myth began w/ Vlad the Impaler (a.k.a. Draccula), a Transylvannian Crussader who drank the blood of his Turkish Muslim enemies after impaling thousands of them on massive stakes (Ironic how he was a Crusader Who drove a stake through his enemies, but folklore tells us just the opposite). His story would later by romanticized over time in the Western world, spawning a disturbing subculture of people who wish they were vampires.

Wookies: If we could catch a bigfoot and domesticate it, would that be considered a wookie? If so then I guess I do believe they could exist

-Sorry for not replying with a simple yes/no - Great thread!

I just think that.

Ans the Komodo Dragon IS NOT A DRAGON. It is only called that because of its enormous size and it lives on the island of Komodo in Indonesia!! Get it right!

I'm curious as to where you've found people on this board claiming that Komodo dragons are actual dragons. It seems unnecessary to mantra something that no one has even disputed.

As for what I believe, I'm pretty open-minded about some things, such as the existence of creatures we haven't yet discovered. However, I remain healthily skeptical about them. Except wookies. We all know those existed long ago in a galaxy far, far away. We've seen the video evidence.
