Someone in this thread should study that website at length and get back to us with all the information.
I would but my adhd wont let me concentrate. no joke.

I've gone thru the site and I think this sums it up pretty well;

We have little real understanding of the mechanisms that might underly the anomalous correlations found in the GCP data.
noosphere.princeton.edu...

But they are working on it!!!

I sent an email to Roger Nelson who runs the project and asked about the large shifts in color. Here is his response:

It is difficult to interpret the dot color with precision. It represents
the data accurately, of course, but the proportion of signal to noise is
very small, so most of the changes one sees are really just
fluctuations in the noise.
I also have not had any great events come to attention, so my best guess
is that the swings you have seen are best interpreted as chance
fluctuations.

Best,
Roger

Well, even the owner of the project isnt sure? okey dokey...I say we stop worrying about a dot.

GCP is currently running red. Maybe something to do with this:

North Korea has carried out an underground nuclear test, the North Korea's Central News Agency (KCNA) said on Monday.

You know what, I've just noticed this, I'm sure it's a new addition, I hope it is...

The percentages are how likely the data is to be random.

d'oh!

That means the above statement is completely incorrect.

Red would indicate the most coherence in the data. Blue would indicate

I hope if anyone reads this thread, they have a laugh at how confused I've got myself.

ok.

Blue = Random

Red = Coherence

Sweet.

[It’s still red BTW]

I'm now going to let it die, almost wish I never came back to it...

Its a lemony yell0w this morning

Anyone know what that symbolizes?

i don't actually know, but here's something to consider;
When elements, or stars for that matter, are heating up

the cooler temperatures/volitility are seen as Reddish
as the temperature/volitility rises the object becomes Yellowish
then as the object reaches the Maximum, it glows a Blue-White Hot color

so, imho, the color scale in question is a deliberate opposite of the high-degrees/high-volitility,
-> red -> yellow -> bluewhite,
progression we see in physics phenomena

but the scale seems aligned with our cultural paradigm of Red being intense, then Yellow as being milder or not unpleasant, with Blue being associated with the coolness of ice, as in nonvoltile or even static/frozen
(look at the 'points' colors in the left hand columns 'passport' for ATS)

Creative answer St. Udio but nahhh.

Quite simply, the GCP statistically analyzes the data produced by the random generators in a rolling window. Again, the devices are specifically designed to produce random data (even number of 1's and 0's over time). As those data streams move away from random (i.e., more 1's than 0's) the color moves from a 'Green " (i.e., random data) through Yellow to Red. As the data moves away from random in the opposite direction it moves from Green to Blue. The amount of color change reflects the amount of 'non-randomness' of the data.

I just looked at it three times,
the first two times the iframe holding the button was dead
the third time the button was blood red...

Well, it's BLUE (getting dark blue) at this moment. It says that extreme shift from green is significant (not just red, but blue also). So, blue means complete randomness? What could that mean?
