All countries and organizations use propaganda as a tool.
In fact I feel the title of this thread is propaganda, by just stating Jewish people and not other people or religions.
The key for me is to look at the many sides of a situation.
I read Al Jezzera online, and I can instantly see a slant. But then I have to use that sharpness to try to see a slant in the news I have been
brought up with. And pick out the truth that may or may notbe there.
Everyone puts a spin on everything. It is up to you find as much truth as you can.
But where you were brought up, religion, percieved race, gender, and age will have you seeing a story different than someone else and for you to reach
different conclusions also. That is why eye witnesses see such different things at say a car accident or a robbery or who started all the problems in
the Middle East.
To me if you do your research trying to see as many sides of a story as possible, and then reaching a conclusion. And even seeing "your side" is
not perfect either. Then I will respect your decision much more, even if I don't agree with it.
