You know what I think, I think that the real problem may be not in that they WILL get something right eventually, but that they have sporadically gotten a FEW things right.
That seems to fuel hope for more doom-gloom recurring monthly revenue.
Seems to me if they get only 1 thing right and 50 wrong, they are far more dangerous than if all 51 came true.

I often wonder, what is it about end times that interest people..is it their inherent fear OF dying or the human characteristic that we enjoy destruction more than production and progress.

When the end-times are truly near, all the bible codes in the world wont make a difference.

As far as WWIII, I doubt if it's REALLY started...YET..but one wrong move, by ANY country at this point, could surely trigger it...were at a boiling-point on the world stage, if we dont turn down the heat....boom.

Personally speaking, I live EVERY day as though the end-times are upon us..give to your brothers and sisters without reservation or expectation. Remember people, whether Christian, Muslim, Buddhist, Jew, in ALL reality there can have been only ONE supreme being that created ALL of this (if not by some bizarre perfect conditions that led to it), and, that being said, we all owe it to each other to NOT hate..there are borders .. imaginary lines drawn by our collective governments which they have deemed uncrossable, YET they ARE imaginary boundaries...they dont exist, they only exist because we LET ourselves belive they exist, and because of that we feel as though that Arab over the border is less of a human being simply because they live on the other side of that imaginary line...that those Israelis are no good because, well, they are Jew's and vicious land stealing Israelis...that those Mexicans "damn those mexicans" for being so close to the US and wanting a better life for their families by bringing them somewhere they can survive...and OMG those Latins from Venezuela who are AWFUL omg SO awful, that Basta_d Chavez even wanted to help the poor families in Boston when they couldnt afford heating oil can you imagine that gaul?...And, of course, those damn pesky Commies sheesh they just never seem to go away do they with their world domination plots especially those poor and the hungry in the majority of the former USSR who would give their right arm for a full days meal for their families, yes they TOO are just feigning it while calculating their world domination scenario.

Yes, WWIII will come, dont wish for it...dont pray for it to be the Earths savior, dont even whisper it but it WILL come and when it does be certain that all you ever read here and anywhere in the free world is all but a distant memory. Live now as though the end-times are upon you and enjoy your brothers and sisters in this life and dont hate.

after reading thru some of the posts/links again and reading the news, it seems to me we are dangerously close to world war. altho i dont think it has much to do with the bible codes. if it doesent start then there will be another thread on the next "prediction".

on a side note, in the nostradomus version of wwiii ends in world peace.

Just moments ago Israel announced a 48 hours halt to the air strikes. This means they may start them back up around the August 2nd - 3rd. I dont follow the bible code, but an interesting parallel nonetheless.

As others have mentioned, I too believe we are climbing the foothills to WWIII.

True Bush was giving hugs and kisses to Putin only days ago, however look to Russia's past for how they take sides. Same with China.

Cease fires tend to only throw fuel on the fire. You either fight a war or have peace. One Katusha in a market, then the @#$# will really hit the fan. I can almost here the Iranian Basij fighters crawling into Lebanon already. They will use this cease fire as an opprotunity to enter the conflict.

Personally I think WWIII will continue to ramp up until the 2008 Olympics. After which China will try to take back Taiwan, which by the way is the same year the current Taiwanese leaders term is set to expire. Then we will have a large multi-frontal war. Russia,middle-east,Europe on one front and China, Japan, Australia on the other... all the other countires involved would be intermixed.


Let hope this is not the case...

Is what I said hard to image? Sure it is, but so is any war of this scale.... video games and movies are about the only thing comparable to the this generation. With the exception of Iraq (a media war).

Put together what has happened in the past 5 years and do the math. Look to a map of the world and use some string. Connect the dots, then add the geopolitical entanglement. How many soccer moms, bus drivers, big fat executives, factory workers, etc, etc, do you think could do that? Thats why it doesnt "seem" like its going to happen or could for that matter. People are not talking about a world war, quite frankly they could care less or dont want it and the one who are, are just being laughed at or brushed aside. Those two crowds are what rules the western countries and what Islamic facist hate and want to destroy. Nothing will change it, until a global war intervenes. Only one or two wildfires are needed to light a world war. We have already had more than enough, examples include 9/11, UK subway, India train, Hamas-Hizbullah, etc. The only reason a real world war did not break out in the cold war, is because of clearly drawn lines, new technology and MAD. We no longer have those convienences. The world is again at a grey pivot point. Some are seeing it and others are not.

What do you think could constitute WWIII?

I do think game designers do put in a lot of research to grab realism. Is any serious producer going to put out "Total War!: Canada vs. Mexico" If they do, it would be in soccer. Normally I'd say it doesn't look like World War III, but every political figure on the news seems to be chanting it. I'm not thinking nukes, but it looks to me like they're going to try to turn it into something bigger than it is. These battles are age old. IF the U.S. and allied countries were to play it smart, they wouldn't be going on the hunt for "the big one" rather slowly campaign, making calculated moves at each turn. The U.S. would benefit from a proxy-war rather than a head-on conflict with everyone going up in arms. The benefactors of full-scale war are the opposition. If Hezbollah & Hamas can unnerve Syria, Iran, Jordan, North Korea and such, then yes, this could be bad. I personally don't think China can be considered part of this. We have too many mutually beneficial interests to consider hostilities. The U.S. for the most part recognizes China as a superpower and they're pretty happy with that. So long as they have a "benevolent dictatorship" I don't think that'll change.

I usually don't listen to rumors, but when the boys in the capital are getting people used to the term, that's step one. Step two is taking action on it, saying "we TOLD you this was happening..." Buggars

The total win-win situation here is any breakthroughs in talks and agreements. It's hard to talk when people are shooting at you (as Israel can attest to)...so we need to do a lot of talking to those who aren't.

WWIII will be 2 or more regional, concurrent conflicts with the ability for spontaneous spill-over. There will be no clearly drawn lines, and no dominant player. I would guess (predict) more than a dozen nationalities will be involved.

The two regions are Middle East (current conflict) and Far East (developing with N. Korea firing away). I would say the Orient will be the first to show the severity of modern conflict with a limited nuclear exchange. The spill-over will include the US, UK, and European powers with acts of violence. In these countries with technology and delivery of media events, acts of hate such as random shootings, unexplained powders, and strange illnesses are highly effective now. If they are stepped up, they would be very destructive.

If you don't think WWIII could happen, I guess your like the ones that thought WWII would never happen; after all, WWI was the final conflict?

What's sad is that they haven't given up after past predictions have failed. I think there's more than enough work involved in actually reading the Bible. There's no need to search for extra stuff that's not there when the Bible has such a large inventory of prophecy already which all seems to come true.


(Looking at the chicken bones on my desk, I predict somone will say Bible prophecy isn't always accurate)

Well Dbates your prediction came true!I I remember seeing a tv program on national geographic about the bible code and they used the "code" in the book Mobey Dick and came up with some things that happened(9-11,WWII,etc.)So I think its all a bunch of hogwash.Although an invasion of Iran is definitely a likely scenerio.The situation in the Middle East is so screwed up.Its gonna get alot worse before it gets better.

what if Mobey Dick contains information to 911 and WWII. Maybe our crations like Mobey Dick become part of this reality. Maybe every book that has been written is a code of some sort. Maybe authors are like prophets of the new age... where their writings tell stories of past, present and future.

Regarding WWIII...all we are currently seeing is the build up. Maybe when future historians write history they will state that it started with 911, maybe not. Time will tell.

Its the number of people who are now turning thier heads and paying attention to whats happening. Each one it seems have thier own reasons, science, faith, curiosity whatever the reason, many many people are now waking up to whats happening.

Yes, in many instances in the past, the claims were made that the end was nigh, it seemed we couldnt have a major natural event occur without hearing that claim.

But never before have the events unfolded such as they are now with amazing frequency, Famine (over 300,000 dead Africa) Extremely powerful storms, Wars and rumours of wars, (by the way, yesterday Somolia declared war on Ethopia) and abnormalities in Earth, (see poles reversal, Chandlers Wobble, Dr. James Hansens report on Global Warming). Each of these events are now running concurrently.

Lets take for example 2 events, Global Warming and the Pole Reversal. The poles are currently moving at 40KPH, the fastest its ever moved in recorded history. Its a fact that reversals have taken place before. Its a fact that they are doing it again, its a fact that the Earths magnetic field is weaker due to the reversal.

Now that we've lost a percentage of protection from the Sun's power, we have discovered that the atmosphere is in a lot worst shape then once thought. We've discovered that its current rate of demise we have about 10 years before reaching the tipping point, or point of no return, we as a planet will be bombarded with the UV rays, heat, electromagnetic pulse from solar flares ect ect... these two events alone should be enough to cause great concern amoung us.

Now lets add Faith, for those that believe, many are frightened, many of whom are otherwise a rock in the face of adversity, but now, many are questioning, many are relooking at themselves. I for one am. The Bible points out the events that are too occur, its seems the thing that isnt provided is the timing between events, for example, how long is the beginning of the end? We all know tribulations is 7 years and divided in half 3 1/2 years and 3 1/2 year for the Great Tribulation,(read Daniel) but what is the timeline for the events? The Rapture, the 4 horsemen, for the breaking of the seals? Yes friend, I believe this is the beginning, we will get to witness it, not our kids, our grandkids, us.

Anyone with a shot at a timeline??

I think it comes down to what the analysts say.

If there is money to be made in any shape or form ( oil, land, exports, etc.), you will see the big boys join the fight.

On the paper you do see.. the reasons are all humanitarian, and life saving, on the paper you don't see... the reasons are all based on analysis of future gain.

What is stood to gain by jumping in the ring, who to support and why. Probably many reasons we would never think about, have all been laid out on the table.

I think all superpowers study every aspect and detail of these confrontations to determined which is in the best interest of themselves, not the ones they are helping.

From public outcries to future trading ability, it all comes down to what money can be made.

To analyze the outcome of a war, would not be a job I would enjoy. Somewhat like the stock market.... if your wrong, somebody loses.

Here's yet another blog that goes into detail as to what might happen on Aug 3rd. He says to leave Damascus now or die! (Something like that). I'm skeptical, but others might want to read this.
