the final answer to everything? (strange website)

It seems like the creator(s) of this game are leaning towards a philosophical conclusion. In the novel, the aliens wind up setting the example for humans and become martyrs in the face of a brutal, savage humanity. They become as gods, such as Jesus who was the ultimate sacrifice for man's sin.

I googled "the answer to all things" and come up with a philosophical site that teaches that the answer to all things is within us..... Not that I agree with that, but maybe it's what they're looking for.

You're misunderstanding my post. I was talking about how close it was to the end. Describing why everyone else left that was working with us earlier.

All this whole quiz thing comes down to is who gets the last question, that's all I'm saying.

But maybe it doesnt. We were all asked to distribute this site and we all did. I think it would be very unfair for just one person to win after all the researching done by everyone here. I dont think it is a prize like an xbox etc etc

This CAN only be won by one person, the first person who uses the correct answer.
In a sense we ARE alone on this last part, because i'm not entirely sure someone will get this in any other way but luck.
Having said that, whoever wins ould not be here if it wasn't for the efforts of everyone who has contributed along the way.
So, we are all winners in one sense, but in the other there 'can be only one'.

That is not a reason to start with paranoia and bickering.
You never know, you might be the lucky one.

Try pressing F5 to refresh that screen. Or makesure, if you did a copy and paste, that you didn't accidently add a SPACE anywhere.

what's the _javascript thing that gives the question number?

I third that.

20 minutes of shoving in answers and obviously I have nothing.

All I know for sure though, is it's pretty much guaranteed I won't get the answer. Or get anywhere close. If this is the final question, it's been fun all. I never realized how many unboring people were actually on ATS. So many of them seem quite stiff and uninteresting.

To whoever wins, congratulations, you obviously don't deserve it, none of us do individually. If we weren't this goos of a group, we would all be stuck somewhere around the waiting the day for the question.

It's been fun everyone. I'll keep shoving in answers on the off chance I get the answer right.
