eta: Every time I go to the New Topics for the first time, the Subway ad pops up regardless of where my mouse is.

I just saw this ad and I think this belongs on the list.



I think, if I remember correctly, ATS members are not allowed to post links for petitions.

I don't feel it's appropriate to allow petitions to be advertised.

If a member wanted to pay for an ad they could post links to petitions.

So as long as you have enough money the T&C doesn't apply?

The new MIO ENERGY ad that pushes the whole web page to the left and mostly off the screen is horrid!!!

Please make it go away posthaste!

I normally don't mind ads but this one is the most annoying type of advertising I have ever encountered. It makes my brain hurt!

I think we hit a new high in bad ads.

Recently when I enter ATS from both Android device and Safari, I more or less instantly get booted to one or several pop up sites that sort of "take over" the existing pages or tabs.

Ie. I'm not even pressing anything, it just happens.

Hope you can see to this issue, as it is needless to say quite annoying.

I wasn't logged in but was browsing the site earlier and every page other than the login, was bombarded with a lottery site opening 2-3 news tabs every minute or so. I had to login to stop the madness.

Does anyone else see an ad for a website called tldrstuff.com? It's making ATS orange for me. It's motto seems at odds with the spirit of the site, what with parsing out information and repackaging it in nice neat blurbs and all [I saw an ad for it before, and that's the gist i got from it, I may be wrong, I've never used it]

I get that bright orange tldr background as well, with the stoned looking critter behind. It's quite an eyesore an unappealing.

I agree 100%. So it like condenses everything into a summarized version? That sounds perfect for about 1/2 of the folk on this site. This ad is as ugly as seeing the post: "OP is too long. Please do not make me read an ENTIRE paragraph."

it makes a noise when i am attempting to listen to podcasts

the ` roll over ` jups back when you attempt to move the mouse off the " close " button

the " close " button - has a deceptivly small ` target ` area - pizels that SHOULD close the add activate a new tab link

I am now (in 2013) getting problems with gorillanation.com

Every page action, post, changing page etc takes over 30 seconds as the system is waiting for geo.gorillanation.com. This started yesterday, or the day before. I don't remember exactly.

I have even tried to block it in hosts to no avail.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Is it just me or is anyone else getting random hyper linked words in posts that when you hover over them open an ad box up from a company called CouponDropDown?

I'm running some malaware progs etc. to see if it's my pc, but I'm only getting them here at ATS......most annoying.

Perhaps I should have gotten a print screen. But as a forum owner I would be ticked off. When I first loaded the site, 2 Domino ads took over your home page entirely. Nothing but black space and those 2 ads.
