Yes. Spelling counts per that mean old Rule #9.

And The Number Shall Be 17...

Also what if they are the first with the 17 correct, but have extras too? Would that still be a "1st place"?

The number of correct FSMEs shall be 17. Neither shall it be 16, nor shall it be 18.

Posts with any more or less than 17 FSMEs -- and they must be the right ones -- will not count.

My Evil Scheme

As you can see, I'm quite lazy. Members give me the answers, then check them, then tell me who won.

In exchange, I offer points. It's the only way a guy as busy as me could possibly hope to run contests.

If members don't mind, I plan to run a lot more contests this way, because with your help, I can run them more often.

More on that later. But first, there are still quite a few points up for grabs.

The first correct Final Judgment post gets 2000 points.

Recurses, Foiled Again!

Zounds! I hope we don't get stuck in an infinite loop!

I'm still pretty drunk, so I'll have to do the Final Final Judgment tomorrow.

But so far, it looks like things have run pretty well.

(And it would probably be a good idea to make sure your final post is 100% correct and unedited, because there will be another phase: the double-check phase, and points will be involved.)

Well, first place (spelling and caps correct) is nailed down!

As for second and third, I'm emphasizing the key word "closest" in your statement:

2. Who was second-closest before the winning post was made, with a link to that post (5000 PTS Points).

3. Who was third-closest before the winning post was made, with a link to that post (2000 PTS Points).

1st place:
Xeros

2nd place: ragster

3rd place: Kellter

1st to name the winners correctly: Xeros

Hey Majic, I'm onto your fiendish plot!

When the Three amigos check the statistics for PTS, they'll see a huge spike in page views!

They'll say "Gee yunno, we picked the right guy!!"

He he he!

Doh, Xeros edited the "right answer" post.

Ah well, one of you got it right anyways so I won't bother reposting.

Edit:@mechanic: Ya I know about #4, (no point in changing it now) we're all just posting at the same time

Mine could be wrong too.

I still give both ragster and Xeros an A for effort, though.

Well maybe Xeros an A+

And ragster an A-

Since Xeros is still here.

I had to drop out of the race for a bit. my cellphone was overheating.

1st place: Xeros

2nd place: ragster

3rd place: Kellter

1st post to name the winners: Mechanic 32

Sure, it's a "quote", but it's unedited and the 1st to name them.

Edit: fixed the underline since Kellter was misspelled in the quote anyways (wasn't worried about the DQ
)

I think I've got the four, and first to post 'em correctly?

At any rate, I'm off to do something else.

We could have a three way arm wrestle, if it is deemed to be a tie.

Nah (might be fun
but not necessary) you got it by a clean 3 mins.

Again, Congrats
