I assume the explosion would have to happen deep inside for anything to happen, but then I dont really know - just a guess.

I definitley wouldnt worry about that happening today, the missile doesn't have much range if the media are correct.

Well if the trajectory even comes close to heading this way, it's not going to be a good day.

Well its 11pm over there, i think, I doubt theyd launch at night.

I don't think the intent here is to hit anyone or anything in particular. However, if they are going to launch they might as well make it count because Japan and the US have already said this would result in a negative impact either by sanctioning NK or worse.
I don't think NK would be stupid enough to actually aim for a specific target. Remember they did this in 1998 I believe and it landed in the ocean.

Another point too which I think was brought up is the fuel. Fuel components break down after a time and I think I read somewhere earlier that syphoning the fuel would be quite the task. So if they have gone to taken those steps already I would say they are planning to launch it.
They are pissed at the US as are alot of countries these days and I think they might just want to shake things up a bit.

If they really wanted to rattle the government here, they would do it i would imagine at around 9am Pacific time. That's one more hour for the folks out there.

Put on your tv set- This is about to happen. What does it take to get it thru that this is not some off the wall conspiracy? It may have started out as one, but man, all you have to do is check the news and this is a real POSSIBILITY.

What's about to happen? NK test a missile? Yeah, I actaully agree with that. I'm not arguing about that at all.
I'm just saying they won't nuke the U.S.
Unless they want their little country to disappear....and I don't think they want that to happen.


What would it take for you all to realize how the world works? People just don't go around nuking each other. Why? Because they know there would be a consequece for their actions. NK tries to do anything stupid and they would turn the world against them. It'll be NK vs. the World. What evidence do you have that suggests NK doesn't know this?

Nobody is saying this is a prediction and the dates are speculative due to the fueling of the missile.

What's interesting to me though is in every article I have read about this and most are reporting the same. Why is N. Korea not stating their intent behind the launch? I do agree with Just Weird that it's plain stupidity on NK's part to launch agressively at the US or Japan. But why the silence?

Does anyone have any news reports with something stating why NK is doing this?

It just needs to look convincing, doesnt matter where it comes from,just like 911/77.
