What a bunch of Egocentrics.
I mean comeone one does understand that its the soul that moves on not ones body.
What a greedy testement.
God knows how many die each and every year becuase of transplant failure or not recieving one.
A 15 year old freind of my sisters just had a heart transplant 2 days after her heart failed.
Which is an upmost miracle.
Organ donations are needed by so many around the world, and no human should deny the chance to give thiers.

If I have to donate my organs the hospital should have to donate the time to install them.

Therefore I am against someone else something that the hospital will sell for $50,000. SOmething that God gave me and me alone.

I am all for giving someone a sandwhich or a jumpstart but wait, just wait till you need something. You will find yourself on the side of the road on, beaten by robbers. WHile every jew, rabi and Gentiles passes you by.

The system is hypocritical and I am skeptical.

since your in such an honest mood why not go ahead and admit that you were wrong to make the assumption that the majority of southern baptists are against organ donation? so we can get on with discussing the issue...

You've asked me to prove I'm right. I can't really do that, but you also can't prove me wrong. Why would I admit I'm wrong, when there's still a very good chance I'm not? 7 to 5 right now, isn't it? How in the hell is that proof that I'm wrong? You still haven't told me what state you live in, or what church you waltzed into to ask 7 baptists this question.

You've come to the conclusion that I'm wrong because you know 2 more people than I do that say they're organ donors? Is that it?
That and the blanket statement that portrays a much kinder baptist organization, in contrast to their previous old school "no organs" policy?

It's the same statement in each one of those.
Southern Baptists were indeed against it, and some still are. I'm betting more than less.
