Neighbour, you are reading words which are not written. No where did I write that my faith is better than any other faith. I wrote that in 2011, and my faith evolved to exclude the word Druid (and I no longer am part of ADF) however it is clear you are uncomfortable that someone is challenging you. Feel free to try and challenge me. It will require you to understand what my faith says and does, and not some fantasies of one of your faiths clergy

Simply you are seeing things that do not exist.

You are missing the point. You idolize a book, that is not anything more than a version of some books, written by disparate authors, which contain the myths of your faith. Its one version, not THE version. There is no THE version.

Ah yeah like how muslims must face and pray to a rock in a box they call the house of Allah huh?

Thanks for the idolatry lesson...

How about getting straight to the point, instead of a long drawn out 20 questions?

If that’s the best you’ve got, then go for it. You clearly need the practice.

Let me guess. Your next line will be “I know you are, but what am I?”

LOL We don't worship the Kaaba and it's not idolatry. The Kaaba was originally built by the Prophets Abraham and Ishmael, but a later Abrahamic religion (the Hanif) filled it with idols. The Prophet Muhammad's powerful clan was the group in charge of the Kaaba during his era. When he received the prophethood, he and his followers cleared it of its idols and stopped praying towards it. So then this happened (Qur'an 2:143-144):

143. Thus We have appointed you a middle nation, that ye may be witnesses against mankind, and that the messenger may be a witness against you. And We appointed the qiblah which ye formerly observed only that We might know him who followeth the messenger, from him who turneth on his heels. In truth it was a hard (test) save for those whom Allah guided. But it was not Allah's purpose that your faith should be in vain, for Allah is Full of Pity, Merciful toward mankind.

144. We have seen the turning of thy face to heaven (for guidance, O Muhammad). And now verily We shall make thee turn (in prayer) toward a qiblah which is dear to thee. So turn thy face toward the Inviolable Place of Worship, and ye (O Muslims), wheresoever ye may be, turn your faces (when ye pray) toward it. Lo! Those who have received the Scripture know that (this revelation) is the Truth from their Lord. And Allah is not unaware of what they do.

For those who don't know, "qiblah" refers to the direction when praying and "the Inviolable Place of Worship" is the Kaaba itself (which is housed in the Al-Masjid Al-Ḥarām which is in Mecca, Saudi Arabia).

So as is becoming common in this thread, people should see that the Qur'an itself rebukes many of the ridiculous claims that people are making here. As I just noted, the Qur'an itself says in 2:143 that the current qiblah (praying in the direction of the Kaaba) was commanded "only that We might know him who followeth the messenger, from him who turneth on his heels". It has absolutely nothing to do with worshiping the Kaaba nor with idolatry.

And this reason becomes even more noticeable if you've ever been around actual practicing Muslims. When we get a new apartment or house, we first find out the qiblah so that we can pray in the right direction from then on. And when we have a mosque built, we first find out the qiblah so we can make sure the prayer area is facing that direction. If you are around practicing Muslims and its prayer time, we'll try to face the qiblah while praying, even if we're in a parking lot. It literally serves as visual proof of those who follow the messenger, as the Qur'an states.

And for the record, that rock you're likely referring isn't in the Qur'an at all. It's in tradition and has nothing to do with why we face the Kaaba when praying.

You are making the common mistake of reasonable individuals in these threads: Assuming that somone has done any research into the claims they are making
Be it a claim of the preserved word of God, or be it that Muslems do XYZ.

A reasonable individual would do research, before making comments.

An fhírinne a insint and all that jazz after all

Just an FYI.

You’re replying to a person (I’m guessing a person. I could be wrong) who thinks Islam is a death cult. Trying to get any knowledge of Muslims and/or Islam into its head/programming wouldn’t be possible.

True lol. I should know better by now.

The only good thing about some of their posts is that it gives me an excuse to post the truth about Islam. I don't care if people accept or reject Islam, but at least readers can learn to distinguish our actual reasons from the propaganda.

Since they're trying so hard to pump out crazy stuff in this thread during Ramadan, it's actually making me wonder if their posts are tests. As in, maybe they're intentionally peddling BS specifically hoping that people will correct them? Like a "good cop, bad cop" routine or some form of anti-hero that pretends to be the villain in order to bring the actual heroes out of hiding?

ETA: There are actually stories of a being who supposedly served God that would do things that appeared to be blasphemous on the surface. But when questioned about those actions by a Prophet, it turned out that person's "blasphemous" actions were things that had deeper meanings that turned out to be for righteous reasons. I forgot the names involved, otherwise I'd post the passages for it. So maybe these dudes are actually doing this?

Rather funny how perceived idolatry by those outside a given faith is most often misplaced huh?

Also I'm glad you are back because you never did directly answer my question before...

Do you believe Yeshua is Allah?

Is that your way of saying "I'm sorry, I was wrong"? If so, you could've typed that with fewer words, you know.

Also I'm glad you are back

Check the thread; I never left. I just started ignoring some of the more asinine posts.

because you never did directly answer my question before...

I didn't answer you because you complained about me supposedly ordering you around, yet tried to order me around in the same post (you know, this one):

Does Islam believe Yeshua is Allah?
Answer the question...
And dont bother telling me what to do, I dont take orders from you...

I figure that you should lead by example, eh? So if you don't think people should be ordered around, then don't order them around either.

Do you believe Yeshua is Allah?

Not even all Christians believe that Jesus is god. Christians can't agree on whether he's God, the "son" of God, the Word given flesh, the Angel Michael given flesh, a reincarnation of Moses' assistant and successor Joshua, etc. And as I've already noted, at least one entire branch of his early followers (the Ebionites) believed that he was a mere mortal while many other non-trinitarians dismiss various aspects of the trinity. So going by the implications of your question, not even Christians are compatible with your idea of Christianity.
