IHopefully these ugly weapons of war will not be used by either side, and a peaceful solution can be found to this problem, because at the end of the day it is always the civilians and the weak who are injured by wars.

I find it rather funny that on any of the other threads, which spread Iranian "Military Might" propaganda, you haven't refered to them as "ugly." In fact, it's not until now (in reviewing your posts that I've seen), in which you even speak out against the use of any weapons. Odd...
Originally posted by cmdrkeenkidOther than that, yes I hope war does not come between our two great countries. I know for a fact that I do not know the Iranian perspective on things, and I do not claim to. Neither do I trust everything I see on the media, nor consider everyone of Iran to be a "terrorist." My only reason for starting this thread was simply to point out the futility of these "Look at pictures of my countries 'Military Might'" threads.

Also what we should keep in mind is that, of the 12 threads now on the first page of the weaponry section, which are dedicated to Iranians, 8 of them were started by non-Iranians. So I don't think it was an attempt to show off, but rather an attempt to expose some people to the capabilities of Iran, and obviously from the response, it got some attention, and created some curiosity, which led to the other 8 threads starting. Admittedly though, there are cultural differences between us, so perhaps that is why you got the wrong impression.
