Are We In Our End Of Days?

Amethyst, I believe what was being referred to in the Post-tribulation gathering of saints is actually in Revelation and is due to occur after the seven years of tribulation set on earth by God. Those who didnt make the rapture will have to endure. The Bible speaks of those that "proved themselves in the eyes of God" getting to be reunited with their loved ones taken in the Rapture, along with all those that had served God in the past...i.e, Moses, Abraham, Job,...etc. This is what I believe that chapter refers to. As for the first post made on this thread(still trying to figure out how to copy quotes) if you hold any faith in scripture, then you find that there will not be just a "final ending" by God's hand. This is supposed to be a long and difficult process under which many people will die unsaved and doomed for an eternity of torment(eternity translating to roughly 1000 years before Lucifer is released "for just a little while" and it all starts over again) If you are not a Christian and simply want to look back at eerie references like the Mayans and their histories and calenders. They believe that the world has gone through three previous cycles of destruction, and that the fourth and final is due to occur somewhere around, well,...NOW. When you observe the shifting climates and irregularities in the earth's magnetic poles, matched with the increasing number of natural disasters(tornado occurences have risen something like 400 something percent in the past few years) and keep in mind that the Mayans stated signs such as these for evidence of the "change", then you start to wonder if we are indeed about to experience serious global destruction on one note or another. If you like, you can look back on the earth's physical miseries in the past thousand years, plagues and whatnot, and see that mathmatically we seem to be overdue for problems. All in all, I'd bet pretty soon you'll see something at least resembling your "hand of God" and the intervention you are asking about. One way or another anyway. Just keep an eye out

could it be that we are just merely some form of intelligent ai simulation program like maybe the games Age of Empires/now C&C Generals stage, where the objective is to become more advanced and hence proclaim ourselves Overlord over all things.

for all we know, this so-called god could just merely be a lonely punk with no life, that likes to throw in a few cheats like maybe say holy figures/reptilians from space/giant meteorite from nowhere with world climate changing consequences, once in a while. and he probably checks in on us say maybe a couple of thousand years just to see how much we have 'progressed'?
or maybe its just me being paranoid over everything like i always am.

Interesting, if you place any faith in ancient prophecies. It is said that there will be 111 popes, all referred to by their coat of arms. Benedict is named as the 111th, BUT, after the listing another description of a man is given that is not a pope, but yet named as their succesors. New Catholic power? Or will Catholocism be replaced in lieu of a United One World Religion as the book of Revelation refers to? Makes you think....all of this 'end of the world' hoodoo.

Well lets just look at the brighter side of things..

If billions of people die then atleast the world gets to live!

We are choking out the planets resources like a viral infection. This, and organised religion are the two biggest crimes mankind has committed..

If there is a god, I think he will weed out the right people, so im not concerned. I have faith in the unknown which is how god would have intended it.

Also, it all depends on how you view the end of the world.. Some might consider it a rebirth.

I think we're gonna see some kinda Planet X scenario. Maybe it's not a planet, maybe it's an asteroid, but whatever it is, it's gonna turn this world on it's head, baptize us with fire and send the survivors back into the stone-age. No clean water, no food. Starvation and disease will abound. There will be no need for dates or tracking time anymore. Just trying to exist will become mankinds goal.........

The warming is coming from the inside, not the outside. Why do you think so many volcanoes around the globe are starting up? Why all the earthquakes? These things have absolutely nothing to do with weather....our planet is getting ready for rebirth, unbeknownst to mankind.

Prepare spiritually for the coming Tribulation so you can mentally handle it....because it's going to be true hell on earth and every man left alive will wish he was dead. When it's gonna happen? I have not a clue, but my hunch is within the next several years.

I feel that the end of the world will have nothing to do with nature. With all the political issues at hand its more feesable to commit to the idea of man-made apocalypse. We have nukes.. You really dont think they are going to be used eventually?

Anything to get the public as far removed from the truth as possible.
