I watched Stargate the movie but never watched the TV series. I just watched the episode you linked to and every time I saw the "finger," he reminded me of Dan Burisch...glasses, bald head, short. Coincidence?

ah sweet... thanks! Hopefully a bit of study in the language itself will help me to understand a bit more of what you're talking about.

lol yeah, but he really reminded me of the nerd in ghostbusters, the KEYMASTER for opening the portal via sex magick with sigourney weaver's character, who was the GATEKEEPER. but ghostbusters is crowley type stuff.

That it does. Now I'm really itching to go over there.... I want to see all this stuff firsthand! Maybe a museum here in Seattle has something from over there though... I'll have to check it out. If not, where might I start? I hate being restricted to photos on the internet.

hm, there's the oriental institute at oxford (in england)
and i would think the pennsylvannia state university archaeology dept would have a few tidbits. not sure but seems they would be translating their dictionary from more than just photographs and already translated materials

"Vince Clortho! Keymaster of Gozer, Volguus Zildrohar, Lord of the Sebouillia. Are you the Gatekeeper?" HAHAHA, he does look like Rick Moranis as well.

Ya know, I never thought of sex magik and Ghost Busters together even thought its right there in front of my face.

TPTB get some kind of thrill putting the truth of what is going on right under our noses and in front of our faces, it gives them a rush of sorts???

Research 911, the movie the Matrix was made in 1999 - before 911

I'm sure that if this line of research is continued, an eventual connection to this thread will surface -

Oh the connections are there, no doubt but the main focus here is the older Biblical/Sumerian references and there is too much data on the pyramids to mix it all in to one thread
though we do tend to wander from time to time.

Hard not to because the internet links stuff together for us..

"Oh, the world is not ready!" And YOU are? What makes them so special that they're somehow "ready" to know something extremely important about our distant past, but the rest of us are not?

Well I tend to agree that the whole world is not ready for the 'truth', but save for maybe a select few, I don't trust those that DO have the answers to have our best interests at heart either.

So what to do? One could say there are good 'illuminati' and those that choose 'the darkside'. May sound cliche, but it is the reality...

Those we call the PTB are naturally on that dark path. Currently though both sides are about equal in strength. You can know this to be true by the simple fact that the PTB have not got absolute control of everything. If they had we would not be here talking about it.

The other issue is the 'common man' tends to lump every esoteric group under the same banner. True, secrecy breeds such thoughts but very few take time to dig for the facts. Sadly this apathy works in favor of the dark side... the fear and distrust gives them power over you.

People like Dr Hawass have the goal to protect the heritage of his people, noble enough but at some point you have to accept reality (like the white man tombs in China) and many in the esoteric societies still have that fellowship thing "I know something you don't know.." thinking, been bred in by the very need for secrecy in the old days, hard to break out of.

Don't forget that before one could get killed for ideas like we talk about here daily... and I suspect a few here wished you could still do that

You personally, and many of those that are on ATS could most likely handle the truth... but even here look at the trolls, debunkers and just plain idiots that seem to need to disrupt any thread about anything... You think they are ready to handle the 'truth'

As an example... lets say for argument that the truth is that some alien reptilian species did in fact breed us as slaves, and there is no god.. just these 'master' who are coming back soon...

You think the Muslim world would be ready for that revelation? The Christians? The Jews? You don't think that maybe a truth exists that would throw the world into chaos?

Me? I say 'bring it on!' But then I have my tent city, my armor and my medieval skills to fall upon... and a ready made support group
But most do not

This is the MOST frustrating thing in all of archaeology to me. Arrogant people thinking they're somehow more ready than everyone else for the information. I believe I have a right to know where I came from, what mistakes my ancestors made, and thus what I might do better - and also any important discoveries they may have made that might help in my (and others') daily life!

I agree with you on both points. Its why I am here to dig for 'truth' despite the flak. We do have a right and a need to know...

Archaeologist are my pet peeve. When they find something that messes up their theory, they discard it, hide it or their have been cases where evidence was actually destroyed. The Baghdad battery is one of the best example. They were hidden in a basement until a new curator snooped around and found them. That warehouse in Indiana Jones? I hear that belongs to the Smithsonian and is full of stuff you and I would love to look at.

But I went to look at a mineral collection in Toronto donated by a famous collector.. I wasn't allowed to view save that which was on display. The reason? I wasn't an academic, so didn't qualify to see them, even though I have Geology and have been a collector and cutter all my life...

But the 'Secret Knowledge" That is not so hard to get... simply choose and esoteric society and join
Then YOU get to be called "Illuminati"

I will look at your dream post a little later today

...

Zorgon, you have taught me much in the past years, and for this I am grateful.

After all of my snooping and reading I come up to the same conclusion. We are a breeding farm, multiple civilizations worth and our handlers keep coming back to see if the button has popped out of the turkey, because you see... The slaves have to be able to comprehend the technology they will be slaving in. Stephen hawking stated that if we ran into aliens, we would meet the same fate as the Indians when Columbus came to north America. It all fits, it does. The only question is when? 2012? Who really knows.

But think about it, if you were collecting slaves, would you harm them? Or abduct to see if they were ready?

It saddens me to think of this, it really does.

Zorgon, thanks again for your guidance.

How would you efficiently move slaves?

A Stargate perhaps?

Ding ding ding

What species would be an excellent warrior? One that practiced cyberly?

What if we were specialists in this?

The Kardashev scale is a method of measuring an advanced civilization's level of technological advancement. The scale is only theoretical and in terms of an actual civilization highly speculative; however, it puts energy consumption of an entire civilization in a cosmic perspective. It was first proposed in 1964 by the Soviet Russian astronomer Nikolai Kardashev. The scale has three designated categories called Type I, II, and III. These are based on the amount of usable energy a civilization has at its disposal, and the degree of space colonization. In general terms, a Type I civilization has achieved mastery of the resources of its home planet, Type II of its solar system, and Type III of its galaxy.[1] Science fiction also may expand the scale to Type IV, where a civilization has mastery of the resources of its universe, and sometimes Type V, all the universes.

What level of civilization would we fit in here? Protectorates of a lev 2?

Lol. I apologize. It's like enlightenment hit me and all the loose ends connected.

The esoteric comment was towards you and my thanks to zorgon was for the opening of my eyes.

It's a rough road ahead.

esoterica isn't my schtick. all i'm doing is reading ancient texts, looking at ancient artifacts and making comparative analyses. some may find the subject matter esoteric but i just find it all quite bizarre.
