If youve given even a glance to islamic theology, youll see that Allah is not a seperate deity to your christian one. Ask any Muslim, when they use the name Allah they are refering to the same judeo-christian god as in the old and new testaments.

Allah is certainly not the same God that the Christians and Jews follow. Yes, many Muslims think it is the same God, but the facts say different. I will show these facts in my next post.

How about a little common sense in the meantime. If the God of the Bible says that he would restore the Jews to their land and once He did, He would protect them. Why is it that the god of Islam wants to kill Jews and Christians. This cannot be the same God.

Islam is, like judaism and christianity, an abrahmic religion, which traceces it liniage back to (funnily enough) abraham of the old testament. They can trace their lineage back to Abraham. Ishmael was Abrahams illegitmate son, born of his wifes handmaid. God said he would make him a great nation. In Genesis 16 he also says that his hand will be against all men and all mens hands against him. And so it is with his descendants.

So, yes, they can trace their lineage back to Abraham. Problem is, they can't trace their god back to God. They serve a false god.

I'm not really interested in what relgions have to say. I have never tried to prove the age of the earth so I am not sure. I think that God made it impossible to prove the age of the earth. But, you can't prove that the earth is not 6000 plus years old.
- Modern technology makes it possible to take a piece of ice from the Antarktis and there by see how old it is (I cannot give the information on how its actually done and how, but it is a fact)

Now to answer the question, 'Who is Allah? Allah is a pagan god that was worshipped in Arabia long before Muhammed came along and declared himself a prophet.

Allah actually comes from the from the word al-ilah, which means, the god.
There was a reported 360 gods worshipped in Mecca prior to the Muhammed showing up. The al-iliah or chief god of these was the moon god.

The first part of the Muslim creed says, "Allah is the greatest". The greatest of the gods that were worshipped. Muhammed simply took away all the other false gods that were already worshipped in Mecca and gave them their chief god ai-iliah, whose name had already been shortened to Allah. The Arabs accepted this because they already worshipped Allah as the moon god.

If you do a little research, you will find that Muhammeds father and uncle had Allah as part of their names, as this was common pagan practice. How would it be possible for Muhammeds father to have Allah in his name prior to Muhammed being born? Simple, Allah is the previously worshipped moon god.

The practice of praying toward Mecca and making a pilgrimage there was around long before Muhammed was born. Archaeologists have discovered temples throughout the Middle East where the theme was worship of the moon god.

Unless a man is born again, he cannot enter the kingdom of heaven.

To be "born again" means to accept the "free gift" of God, which was the sacrifice of His son Jesus.

So by the grace of god you are saved. All you must do is come before him and accept what he has freely given you. Just come as you are, you don't need to clean up anything. Just talk to God and tell him you accept his Son as your savior and ask Him to show you the truth. After, you have done this, you must repent and turn from your sin. Some things you can change in your own strength, but many things will be changed by God. He is the potter, you are the clay.

I will tell you that this is real. You will find that the rules of this world are not as you think they are. Things can be changed by your words and your faith. There will be many, many wars to fight. But there will be no question when you see what happens as to whether God is real.

Original KJV is the most accurate translation but if you worry about that find one that tickles your ears and says what you want it to say. Virtually all the translations say the same thing about salvation issues. As to living the life issues...well we'll just say that it'd be a good idea to study Hebrew and Ancient Greek if you want a more "accurate version". The amplified is a good source along with Strong's exhaustive concordance if you want the full deal.

Now to address the other issues:

there are three part to a human = body-soul-spirit.

body is the thing you can touch, soul is your personality or what makes you-you, the spirit is the animated portion that goes back to God when you die (thus the scripture that says God breathed life into Adams nose), it was the animated part of us that is the spark of life) that is also why we cannot and will not ever duplicate it in regards to developing life in a lab to confirm "evolution", never will happen as we cannot create it. It is given to us at conception by God. It returns to God when we die. His Spirit and Word separates the soul and spirit at death and the soul awaits judgement against the books of the Bible if you are not marked by the name "Jesus" and justified by your faith in Him.
