being CEO is usually an indication of being able to show the best figures, either through actual competance, or fudging the books. The problem with fudged books is it only buys time. Sooner or later, those extra figures come due, and someone is going to know why performance just dropped off.

that's true and one could only hope that fudged books never see the light of day because if they do they can be disastrous for a company and their reputation as a business

Then do you accept that this statement was unnecessary and misleading because what you actually are aware of is one CEO of one company and that it is irrelevant to the Airbus orderbook debate except in the most tenuous of 'tarring with the same brush' sense?


CEO's of european firms have lately been known to inflate prospects.
