weird photo near viaduct

I'm sorry, I know it's hard getting your ideas shot down firmbeliever.

My first post on ATS was a similar thread titled Crazy Sprite Guy



Personally, I think this is much clearer and more defined than your picture, and it still got shot down. Go check out the thread and see all the people accusing me of being a hoaxer. I still have no idea what this thing was, and nobody wants to explain it. I have a feeling your picture will be the same way.

Where was this taken & did you see the thing urself or hear it

Click the link, the whole story is there. Along with a huge follow-up including attempts at recreating it,and showing the area of the picture from all angles. I think some of the links have broken down now though, unfortunately. But most of the images are still there.

Edit: Heh, I probably wouldn't post on it unless you have something important to say. Rasputin gets all riled up every time it gets brought back from the dead. Just to show that there are all sorts of unexplainable pics out there, everybody has at least one on here.

I have way to many stories, some I'm not sure if they were nightmares but have seen a few weird things also. It looks like some sort of mask worn by aztecs or something. Ever played Crash bandicoot, a bit like the thing off there. If it is that then it's protection & not a bad spirit.

Hi I did some work on the pick bigdanprice posted. It is a boy walking twards the bridge and a girl waiting on the other side of the bridge. I think they are real kids, not ghosts.

Here is the girl. She has sholder legnth brown hair, a shaw on and a tshirt that has a square image on it. I put it in black and white and brightened it a bit so the shadows wernt as bad.




Here is the boy. I just zoomed in a bit and brightened it a bit.




THere is no mistaking it in. Those are two kids walking somewhere. Judging by her hair and shaw it was a bit windy out.

Nothing to be afraid of realy. However if it is odd that two kids are walking around during this time of day, I cant help but wonder....When I looked at this it reminded me of two missing kids here in Missouri. Sam and Lindsey. The father took them and is now in prison, and refused to say where they are. I dont believe he killed them. The only way no one would have found them by now is if they were out of the country. It is probably nothing, but I just couldnt help but think of them when I saw this.

I agree it looks like a girl and a boy, now all we have is firmbeliever who insists no one was there when he took the photos.
This is the problem with photos like this, without confirmation no one was there all we can say is that it appears that two figures are in the photo, further than that we can only guess.
Its the problem we must deal with when investigating the 'paranormal'

Wait a minuite, I'm just about to get the images in my pics I took 2day, I took alot more & we found & photographed a sign which said that 2 miners died in an acciident in 1861. The sign was no more than 200m away from where the figure is standing

Firmbeliever has sent me these pics.

He went back today and no sign of anything. Though he did find out that two miners died in this spot in C19th. This is the sign he found out the info on.

I think this pic clears up the second mystery object, the black one... its the sign post that he found the info about the miners on... so the ' boy ' is standing behind the sign that says people have died.... there is another pic of a slightly different angle of where the boy appeared to be.

Does this mean it may be true or can we blame the post. By the way, that wasn't the same sign that said bout the miners, that one was about 200m away over the hill.

I think the fact that we can see the post from another angle means we can discount this as paranormal, but there still remains that image of a 'boy'.
I think we have to say that its a boy in a picture wether its a ghost or not is for the viewer to decide... its not floating or anything so we have no other evidence.

Just look at the face, it's totally screwed. Who would look like that? Maybe if it was halloween then yeah. I can't remember who but one of you said u could see a girl waiting for him, but I really cant see it. R u on about the shadow as being a ghost or is there actually a human in the photo?

I'd like to hear other people's thoughts on this as I dont want this thread to die. I think it is a very interesting picture & the story which could possibly be related makes alot of sense.

I have looked again at the face, It is wierd...
I am not sure whether this is down to the camera angle or not...

Its one of those.
I dont think there is any more to say about it.

I wat was fun while it lasted but I guess people get bored of reading it after a while & now it will just be lost forever as if nothing was ever there. However I will definately visit that place alot more now & I will never forget this.

Looks like a friggin squirel to me. I looked a it closely and it looks like a squirl with something blue on its underside. If not squirl, then something similar to it. Dunno, it's hard to tell since its too far away.

Guys I've been back a few times now & I've realised something else... I don't know if you can see it but on the pic of the sign, if you study the cartoon closely u can see two miners working on the building. The clothes they are wearing are not to different from what we see in the original photo. They have a light blue overall type top with dark sleeves & dark trousers. If this is an illustration of what they really looked like then it could finally explain what really is in the photo. I've not give up on this yet & I'm not gonna let this go this soon. It freaked me out when I saw this & made shivers run through me but I'm glad I've found something else.
