Was that an add for the upcomming live action Transformer movie? If you look at the 'alien' he seems to resemble a transformer.

My guess is that this was just a clever marketing ploy for Transformers.

dude it had absolutly nothing to do with transformers

they even said that the suits were biosuits....but since we talkin about it is there really going to be a transformer movie...

that was a really interesting video, and like a few of you have said, it was a very different approach to the 'Invasion' senario.

i suppose it is viable that we could simply be visited from a 'refugee' point of view, what if a completley peacefull alien race did make a flee to earth, un armed (except for the ability to throw 7.5 ton trucks at soldiers) i wonder what the worlds goverments would deem as a sensible humanitarian approach:-

"have you been activley searching for employment?"

"have you refrained from throwing our own tanks at us?"

"have you parked your 1 kilometre long ship in a sensible place?"

I wonder if these are the same guys who made the "Tetra Vaal" video? It looks similar:
