I manged to find. you have to go roughly 3/4 down from the top.

It comes from some obscure website registered with go.daddy.com that calls itself americaslastdays.com. I did a whois lookup and the info given on the party who registered the website is not actually listed all it shows is DomainsByProxy.com to coverup the real name of who owns the name.

Thanks for the link... It'll be interesting to see if anything whatsoever happens on the 23rd this month... I do have my doubts... But somehow I also feel something is about to happen soon...

Very interesting string. Aljazeera plays an edited tape and will not even say when or how they received it and -

1. People actually give credibility to an edited tape and the terrorist connected news source that edited it.
   
2. Somehow it gets twisted around as a reason to attack President Bush.
   

I think it was P. T. Barnum who said " No one ever lost a dime underestimating the intelegence of the American public". It does not take a genius to see that this was released in response to the recent attack on OBL's top dogs on the Pakistan border. It's also great evidence that we did in fact kill some very important terrorists. If someone is stupid or evil enough to host these people they deserve whatever happened to them. They are not innocents. If children were killed it is their parents fault and no one elses.

The tape could just as easily have been released to coincide with the "US: 'Very High' Chance of WMD Terror Strike" story, now, couldn't it? And we are starting an election year, aren't we? The GOP is in trouble, too, isn't it?

Remember, the CIA trained bin Laden, then he went 'rogue' (or whatever) after the Soviet pullout in Afghanistan. It was a UCAV/Predator missile strike by the CIA that took out the Al-Quaeda operatives in Pakistan. For all we know, the CIA was behind inviting Zawahiri to dinner that night! It all seems kind of staged for the MIC's amusement to me.

You know what was the best thing to happen, well it seems that Cheney happens to made an appearance on prime TV on the day the tape was aired to talk about the fight on terror.

Now that is the best of all, "lets get them fresh before they find out is a hype"

Be afraid people Bin-laden is alive and well and he hates us.

I find more interesting the years that Bush did his wiretapping and I guess he has been listening to the wrong people, because he should have gotten the hint that Bin-laden still have people in the US waiting for his call.

I guess Bush has been more interested in gossip that terror groups.

So let me get this right

You are saying Cheney knew in advance the exact day that OBL was going to release the tape?

I do not buy it for one minute simply because the tape came on the heels of the attack on OBL's leaders. :shk:

The two texts are different. I would use the 2nd link because it confirmed what I heard on CNN earlier today where refers to "A swimmer in the ocean does not fear the rain. "

I refered to the a similar phrase early on in the thread on page one and even this version translated is not exactly the same as the expert stated on the air. One can only assume that each translator has a slight variation because there is no direct translation.

I am just speculating that is the correct text based on what I heard earlier today.

If all of Osama's messages are being sent to Al Jazeera TV, then why hasn't the CIA, or even the military, sent a group of operatives to stake out the TV station to see who is coming and going from that place? You think they would have done something like this, oh - I don't know - several YEARS ago...?

And you would also think, with the bounty that is on this guys head, that every bounty hunter in the world would be looking for him.

And, like I said earlier, why is it that Osama only pops up during major election years?

I'm not for sure, but is this just a scam to tighten security even more, and chop away at the constitution even more?

allow me to link you to the New York Daily News Article titled "City Fury As Osama Threatens Attacks." The first sentence says it all:
"New Yorkers are on edge again today after Osama Bin Laden broke a year's silence to threaten new attacks - and they're furious the Al Qaeda overlord is still on the loose."

this current tape does not bolster our support of the white house. this does not produce an overwhelming feeling of "Go Team!"

rather, this new tape is a reminder that we have not nabbed this guy. It is a reminder of the ineptitude of the white house with regards to his capture and, as one individual quoted says "We supposedly have the finest intelligence organizatons in the world and all the best technology. ....How come we can't find this one man?"

So, conspiracy theorists, the "sudden, well timed" release of a new tape with fresh threats to our nation has not garnered support for the president. As I said yesterday, it remnds us that we are vulnerable. It reminds us that the largest, most powerful nation in the world is being made to look foolish by a band of criminals living in caves.

Thes tapes are not good for the white house. On the contrary, I would imagine that the moment the white house gets wind of a new tape they are forced to drop everything to figure out a way to make this look better than it really is.

Lastly, I might want to remind y'all that the last time this madman offered a truce, the London Subways were bombed.

ummmm.....take a look at what afghanistan was before we went in if you want an idea of what they wish to rebuild. I'm sorry, but well, seems to me, releasing Saddam and restoring him to power and giving him the money to rebuild his country sounds like a more pleasing alternative for your average Iraqi citizen!
