F-22 or the Su-37A

The F-22 is an American and is the Worlds first stealth fighter. And is the best plane up to date. Hasnt been used in combat YET.


This is the best Russian fighter and possibly the best fighter on the world. Soon to be "deadly adversary" of F-22 Raptor


Which do you think is best?

Which plane do you think would win in Air to air combat?
(I know we will never see these two great planes blow each other up because america and russia are kissing up at the moment)

I prefer the SU-37's manouverability personally. But in a head to head combat I realy couldn't pick a victor.

in BVR combat the F-22 wins.

in Turn-and-Burn the 'Super Flanker' wins.

Btw, i really arent sure that the 'SU-37' is real name of the aircraft..

Su-37 - Same options plus R-37 and KS-172 AAMs and anti radiation Kh-15P and Kh-65S ASMs.

Powerplants: Su-35 - Two 125.5kN (28,218lb) with afterburning Saturn/Lyulka AL-35F turbofans. Su-37 -Two 142.2kN (31,970lb) AL-37FUs.

Performance: Su-35 - Max speed Mach 2.35 or 2500km/h (1 350kt), max speed at sea level Mach 1.14 or 1400km/h (755kt). Service ceiling 59,055ft. Range with max internal fuel over 4000km (2160nm), range with in-flight refuelling over 6500km (3510nm). Su-37 - Similar but range with internal fuel 3300km (1780nm).

Weights: Su-35 - Empty 17,000kg (37,479lb), max takeoff 34,000kg (74,956lb). Su-37 - Max takeoff same.

Dimensions: Su-35 & Su-37 - Wing span over wingtip ECM pods 15.16m (49ft 9in), length 22.20m (72ft 10in), height 6.36m (20ft 10in). Wing area 62.0m^2 (667.4sq ft).

If we ever had a full out war with russia we would never know who would win between these fighters because we would all be nuked

Who knows it might but Russia is broke right now i dont think they can mass produce the sob.

Yeah you were right.

The Su-37 is first Russian aircraft to feature thrust vectoring control comparable to the F-22 Raptor.

Su-37 is the first aircraft to have 'thrust vectoring'..

At least first combat aircraft..

(Harriers dont count..)

This is a close fight but I am going for the F/A-22. It is more advanced and filled with better weapons and electronics.

The Raptor has something called the U.S. behind it. And the U.S has money. So hypothetically the Raptor's side would win. But personally, in a head to head fight I'd go for the Sukhoi.
