The quake analysis has been updated through 06/15/06. There are 440 quakes between 04/22 and 05/07 that have been removed from the NEIC database. For the life of me, I cannot understand why you would ever remove data from a database temporarily. Oh well, the quakes are still in mine!

Val, I found your comment about data being deleted, disturbing. I frequenly check
earthquake listings and the action of not listing all data bothers me. Makes ya wonder what else these sites are hiding and it makes it hard to put 2 and 2 together if all the info is not there, Thanks for keeping up with it.

Thats a good question, just as a thought could it be anything to do with Yellowstone? They are only about 100km away from the North western Border of the Park, and there are 19 minor earthquakes in the park in the last week. Normally there is only 4 or 5 you can see.

Edit:

Just as a point, there are 719 earthquakes in the last week in the US that are listed. The most I have seen before is about 620. Is this bad?

Thank you for the updates and good work, Valkeryie

May I add my agreement to the comments stating that these swarm of earthquakes do not seem to be aftershocks?

It is completely unusual and - no idea when - but only time will let us know what is going to happen... Because, I would say that there is something preparing to happen...
