What?!? That seemed like the biggest load of malarky I have ever heard. Now you expect us to believe that the Vattican controlls UFO tech? Thats absurd those guys barely can get into the 20th century I seriously doubt they have UFO tech.

And so by this article the vatican says that they have controll of Aurora (the spy plane that can't seem to be confirmed) UFO propulsion technology (that NASA would love to get its hands on) and the exact position of a NEA named Planet X that is going to smash into the Earth (AGAIN) in 2012.

See what happens when you don't get to have sex?

Great link.. it made my day!

Is the Vatican into heavy duty sh*te science?? YES! They always have been and I know a person that worked as a spook and went on a mission to a famous place in Peru and the Vatican had their agents there.

They (the Vatican), are very active in the UFO field and have even been called in for their 'spiritual take' on a number of scenarios.

Yes, precisely. And if we can see saturns moons, or pluto for that matter, I think we should be able to see a planet twice the size of the earth.

LOL, yeah releasing the sexual frustration might help, might help the poor soul who created that bs to..

So now, instead of NSA CIA FBI NASA and various other anagrams, we also have the Vatican, which apparently controls all of these groups as well.. and all alien matters are actually Vatican matters, and all the other stories that people believe to be true are actually false, and that this story is infact the truth.

Right.

I wish that all the nerds at the nerd convention .. I mean the UFO conventions, could get to gether with all the other nerd, I mean UFO conventions and make one official story and then stick to it, because no 2 stories that come out of the UFO community are the same.

not saying I put any direct theory to 2012,

but ... to try to look at something with an open mind ... here is how I could see us 'missing' a large object. I argue for the love of debate, not to profess my personal beliefs.

First ... we think in short term. If we haven't noticed it in our lifetime, then whatever it is doesn't exist from lack of evidence. Look at the giant squid that didn't exist to science until they found it ... we can't even find all the life in our ocean ... so the vastness of space can be much more of a challenge. You will all say, we find stuff this size and that. Exactly! We find new stuff constantly, including other planetoids ... doesn't mean they didn't exist before we found them, including the Kaiper belt. We, in searching, are limited by where we look, and our orbit. There are so many factors that can block views, or places that we are not looking. So, if you take the possibility, that something is on a long term orbit, and in places we haven't been observing ... or the timing and positions didn't match what was required to see the object ... anything could exist out there. We only recently have had the technology to really search the cosmos, and we don't have 100% of the sky covered 100% of the time. Scientists have admitted that an asteroid could be headed towards us without detection if positioned in certain ways. So ... I can keep my mind open enough to see there 'could' be an object ... under influences unknown (dark stars, other anomalies), moving through space in such a way to pass near us with very limited warning, if hardly any at all. For me to assume that the possibility is nil, would be ingnorant of me ... the same as assuming that it is positive it will happen. Another possibility that exists, and not being discussed ... this 'planet x' does NOT have to be like our planet. There is a distinct chance, it could be a non-solid/gaseous planet, and it doesn't necessarily have to be as dense as what we know to exist already. Whether it in this form could have passed through our planet before or not could be questioned, as well as the possible interaction if it was out there and made contact with us. It could happen similar to a certain Edgar Allan Poe story 'conversation of eiros and charmion'. Don't be so sure that we would warned of a major event such as that. As a governing body/world bodies ... do you tell them and instill panic and chaos for an indefinite amount of time? Or, do you just say oops, we missed it, because how mad can you get at them, you are dying anyway, but life continued 'normally' up until that point.

The whole 2012 could be a lot of things. Planet/asteroid. God's wrath. Nuclear destruction. Solar/magnetic pole reversal/other known event. Human enlightenment. OR an infinite amount of other possibilities, including nothing at all. It is an odd convergence of different ancient societal predictions ... or more accurately, end of predictions/calenders. No need to worry about it much until it happens or doesn't. I would find, even through the depressing reality of it, a planet/large body approaching us to be quite beautiful aesthetically. I always dreamed of multiple moons, or other large visible bodies in our night sky. I haven't had the chance to see auroras, or much other inspiring things in the sky because I live where there is too much light to clearly see our milky way star cluster, and too far away (south) from auroras.

I will always claim, that to really know the truth, is to know we have no idea at all. Our understanding of things is very limited in the grand scale of things. We are still in our infancy of knowledge of physics, chemistry, and theory.

I would have expanded more but didn't want to exceed the character limit. Thank you for reading and considering things in a different light ... and not just clouding your thoughts in blind skepticism. Again, I neither believe it will happen, nor deny it could.

The whole 2012 thing is simply the belief that the current Mayan calendar cycle ends and the next one begins (although I understand not all academics agree on the date this will happen).

That's it. There's nothing else whatsoever. Except furtive imagination and a desire to create lots of book sales .... Bit like the way the world ended in 1999 really.

Hello Ironjello & others!

Scientifically speaking, there is no way that a far-off "planet" can fall on earth like the proverbial ton-of-bricks, splitting it in two! However, most of the ancient calendars point to the year 2012 as the "end of the world" meaning end of the present world, and the beginning of a new world - the GOLDEN AGE.

There seems to be a lot of information coming out lately about Earth Changes, usually defined as catastrophic geological events such as earthquakes, volcanoes, polar shifts, flooding, and global warming. What do we do with all this? Some of it may be disinformation, like deliberate attempts to terrorize people. Some of it, written or channeled with the best of intentions are still only speculations.

However, much of it is carefully researched information. It is easy to pass off certain predictions as "doom", when we should be paying close attention to our ecosystem which is so terribly out of balance. Tragically, by closing ourselves to some of these possibilities of major earth changes, we are also closing ourselves off to the much larger possibilities of planetary renewal and hope.

It's ironic that when we go on an ever increasing rampage of war and mindledss environmental destruction creating gloom and doom for millions on this planet, we accept it as "reality", but when nature decides to do something about it, we perceive it as "doom".

In addition to the two obvious movements of the Earth, viz., the daily rotation on it's axis and the orbit around the Sun, there is also another in which the rotational axis itself moves in a large circle around the Pole Star completing a circle in about 26,000 years, known as the Precession of the equinoxes - explained:

One such circle is being completed in 2012. This is basis on which the "Age of Aquarius" is celebrated in the musical HAIR: a period when according to astrological mysticism, there would be unusual harmony and understanding in the world.

We could certainly use a dose of harmony and understanding in this old world, what?

Remember Richard Bach? "What the caterpillar calls the end-of-the-world, the master calls a butterfly". Likewise, the end of 2012 is not the end of the world like - "Poof-and-it's-gone-along with-all-of-us" - but the beginning of a new world - THE GOLDEN AGE.

If you check pages about the culture and not pages on 2012, you'll quickly find out that you've been lied to about this detail. The Mayans were the only ones who had a calendar ending in 2012.

Most of it is misinformation channeled from somewhere.

However, much of it is carefully researched information.

I'll be honest -- I majored in anthropology and have studied a number of cultures. I can read some of the Egyptian hieroglyphs and so forth. The idea that it's "carefully researched" is not correct.

Since you're interested, could I suggest that you start reading about the origingal cultures and the original writings (like the Enamma Elish... you can see for yourself that Sitchin deliberately mistranslates it), and perhaps do some reading on astronomy (like the fun "astronomy picture of the day" sites.)

Acutally, the "Age of Aquarius" was supposed to begin in 1970... and 1971... and 1975... etc. I was there and reading the books and so forth. The equinox is already technically in the constellation of Aquarius, since the zodiac constellations actually take up different amounts of the sky (Aries is fairly small, Leo is larger, Scorpio is huge and stretched more than 1/12th of the ecliptic plane.)

OK. Lets say that the site is correct and in 2012 a large planetary body is going to swing into the path of the asteroid belt. The site references the Sumerians as having known of this thing and clocked it as returning every 3600 years. The event having happened before didn't end life on earth, just mucked up the weather and tides for a while. This is taking the site as correct and pretending that there are no questions raised.
So according to the site, we will get an interesting show in our telescopes, perhaps some meteor showers, which are always interesting to watch, and some messed up weather. Possible tidal flooding of low lying areas and a few earthquakes. After awhile the effects will subside and life will go on. There may be a few cults formed around the Sumerian Planet, but that is about it.
Aside from the astronomical data that would be gained, what's the big deal?

If this were the case, wouldn't the media - or indeed the governments of the world - be raising the alarm bells by now? Humans as a race seem to have gotten pretty good at charting the various comets and asteroids in the sky, and if something so big as a planet were headed our way in just a couple of years, wouldn't we know it by now?

Say what you will about the motivations of the media and the world's various governments, I'm sure it's not in their best interest for a stray planet to cut the earth in two.

Please try to limit the number of stupid comments that you post. That one is about as daft as they come.

As far as "Planet X/Nibiru/Marduk/some other entirely mythical object on a collision course with Earth" is concerned, it's absolute rubbish. There is no evidence for such an object whatsoever.

Don't worry!

The whole Nibiru / Planet X / Collision story was invented in the 1960s.

Although earth was hit by a proto-planet about 4,500,000,000 years ago and our Moon formed from the resulting debris. It's unlike a repeat performance will occur in our lifetimes

I think its 2 of the 4 you mentioned.

Technology will be used to show the world aliens are here using holograms. The aliens then become the NEW ENEMY which the world can reunite against.

The alien scare can be used against us for thousands of years because it would be impossible for us to ever prove the NWO otherwise.

No.

What are they going to say..."in 2012 there will be a massive planet hitting the earth and we cant save anyone, but carry on with your lifes as usual"?

If this is true, we will NEVER hear about it until there is no other choice for them than to reveal the truth. Maybe when we see it clearly in the sky (if we do).

The moment mankind knows they are not going to make it, the entire economy and society breaks down, because what would be the point in going to work anymore? What would be the point of doing anything at all?

If this is true, I will most certainly not spend my last years working. Ill take my savings, quit my job and spend the rest of my life doing what I want with my days. Of course my savings may turn out to be worthless when the economy crashes, so maybe society will become anarchy and looting decides who lives or dies. Not a pretty picture.

So of course they would not disclose this. Note that I dont believe in the Planet X theory, but Im certain they would not disclose it if it was true.

Copern! Good points as usual, you never know what could be out there, and all the 'novice' astronomers -- tell me, how can you chart every object in the night's sky when it's been known that you can't even see every object in space from one spot on Earth.

I think there are a lot of people in denial about such a thing being possible. I don't know if it's a second sun, planet or what -- but it could be something and like Copernicus mentions -- *they* aren't going to warn anyone about it approaching. . . .

Anyone have any new research/links for PX?

Yeah... well, its just obvious to me. I also believe its the right choice to not inform the public, since the possible chaos and fear will only make society go boom in a really bad way.

There really is nothing to gain by disclosing it, just a lot of things to lose. The best thing for everybody on the planet is to not know so they can continue living normal lifes as long as possible.
