Noone is saying ban Mexicans from the U.S, We want illegals thrown out they can come back for all I care so long as they are documented and accounted for, I dont like having millions of unkown people running around regardless of where they come from or what race they are.

I live in a city FULL of illegal Mexicans. More crime is cause by white legal Americans.

I've lived through the "blaime all our problems on imigrants" before in another country. It's easier to blaime those who are different to us. And everybody looks for the scapegoat because no one wants to look at themselves. It's not me, it's not my race, it's not my religeon, it's not my president, it's not my country.

You dont need statistics to prove that Illegals are causing problems and the source of a lot of problems. Go to any of the area's in the US are majorly illegal immigrants. Then tell me there isnt a problem. (I have lived in one and near another area that was largely illegal immigrants.)

If normal US citizen's dont pay taxes it is traceable at least. Its not with illegals. Same with healthcare.

And yes it does tax our police forces more the normal.

I also beleive any company that is caught employing illegals should see their executives jailed for 10-20 and all of their holdings sold to the highest bidder.

And its also total BS that "white" folk dont want these jobs. To me that is a insult. I own and work a farm, and also worked construction for several years.
Maybe the elite and "city folk" dont want those jobs but there are more then enough out of work US citizen's that would be HAPPY to have these jobs.

Again nowhere has any person in this thread said this is the only problem in our country. Nowhere in this thread has anyone said our country and ourselves arent somewhat to blame.

Myself and others have stated that this is a problem. Something must be done to counter this problem. While I know what I stated is way harsher then most would like or would ever be implemented I stand by it.

I also live in a city with a of lot illegals and like i said they are not the majority of the criminals, or even the homeless for that matter and we have a huge homeless problem.

Have you ever met any illegals? Talked to any? Most of them are just here to get a pay check. A lot of them have families back home they send all their pay to so they can eat. Can you really blaim them?

Don't bite my head off about this, but illegal migration into America was covered briefly in a course I did at Uni. Hasn't it got to the stage that if all the illegals were kicked out the US economy would suffer? Don't you now have a workforce that costs less than "legal" Americans, who have no entitlement to healthcare, insurance, labour rights or legal recourse?

I'm not pro illegal immigration at all, but have you thought about what would happen if every illegal immigrant left tomorrow? Who is growing your food, cleaning your houses, washing your cars... doing all the jobs that are undesirable and too underpaid to be wanted by legal Americans.

I say build your wall, and regulate the border more intensely. But what to do with the illegals that are already there is much more complex. Do you naturalise them after all the checks and screenings, making them able to claim all of the entitlements any other American has? And once they are all Americans, will they still want to work in the hot sun on the farm all day for less than minimum wage?

By the way, I've always thought that if a terrorist is going to come into your country (or mine, or any for that matter) they are hardly going to do so by illegal immigration. Doesn't al-Qaeda spend a lot of money training these people? Why would they then say "now sneak into America with a dubious chance of success"? If there are terrorists coming in, they are sitting on United Airlines, with a fake passport and a fully paid for seat.

I live in New Mexico and hadn't even herad about this. I've heard in the past about the Mexican military driving around by the border and stuff about the border patrol not having enough firepower against some smugglers who had auomatic machine guns. There was also a big complaint of poor funding in the lower part of new mexico for border patrol

and this is where you are wrong,they do get FREE health care,FREE FOOD ,free schooling.no need for car insurance after all they have no drivers licence,in fact they do not have to follow any of our laws.they broke our laws when they crossed the border

Something else that might slow down illegal immigration; Make it illegal for anyone to own property in the US without being a citizen or in the process of becoming a citizen.

As it stands now someone can come here illegally from Mexico, go to the local Larado State Bank with a Mexican ID, open up a bank account, and buy a house from the realtor next to the bank that specializes in selling homes to illegal immigrants. It is completely legal to not be a citizen and buy property here.

I don't think I assumed anything, I was just refering to Americans in general who complain about the illegals, who happen to be mostly white. And it's White Europeans that first invaded this country and took the land from Mexicans and Indians who were here already. I just don't think people realise the implications of that. That can not happen now. There recently was a court rullin ghat ceded a ranch in the US to a family of illegal immigrants.
What happened was the ranch was owned and operated by a bunch of yahoo rednecks who decided to take out their frustrations on some illegals who crossed the border into the US (on to ranch property). The beat the heck out of the illegals who then successfully sued these idiots. The court turned the ranch over to the illegals since the owners of the ranch could not pay the fine that was assessed against them.
Now the lawyer for the illegals is seeking to legitimze their status here in the US, since they are now property owners.

If we took every illegal in the US and threw them out tommorrow yes our economy would likely crumble.

However if we stop the flow in, and slowly but surely take care of the ones here, by either making them go through naturalization or by tossing them out we can manage the damage.

There are many economists which beleive that our economy would be better off in the long run riding ourselves of illegals. There is tons of money spent on food, healthcare, insurance issues, other criminal activities and welfare for illegals. (Yes in some states illegals CAN get welfare)

There is also the fact that many companies in the same industries you are saying cant survive without low wage labor do in fact survive. They just dont make the record get rich tommorrow profits that the ones using low wage labor do. Many of these companies that do it the legal way have to fight goods dumping and other tactics to stay in business. Removing illegals by whichever way would eliminate many of the companies that practice these tactics.

(Dumping for those not sure is when a company hoards or overproduces a product and release's it in a specific market to drive the price below that which their competitors can operate.)


I do feel sorry for the poor people of any country, and I would love for them to come here and find work and safety. I only ask that they do it legally!

Just as a addition no one here has yet acknowledged the fact that there are still many many legal americans that do these jobs, and many others that would be happy to do them if they could get a job.

I am one of those, my family are more of those. Many of my friends fit that class of people. Just because you or those around you won't do this work please dont say "legal americans are to lazy etc..".

Bingo. Alot of the people that say Americans wont do jobs the illegals do are well educated or born with a silver spoon in their mouth. There are plenty of poor or under-educated Americans that would take these jobs to get back on their feet. They aren't the best jobs in the world but it's like working for a fast food resturant, kind of a stepping stone. Lower class Americans cant do these jobs because the border jumpers are here doing them instead.

That's just not true. The "border jumpers" do the jobs becasue Americans won't do them.
Remember the people who hire the illegals are Americans. So is it the illegals fault, or the Americans who are hireing them?
If they could hire legal Americans instead of risking prosecution from hireing illegals, don't you think they would do that?

Also I have yet to see someone mention other illegals. You know not all illegals are Mexican, or come across the Mexican boder?

It's funny some people always turn illegal immigration issues into racist issues.

Basicly doesn't illegal immigration lower wages, and aren't many of the illegal immigrants on welfare too? Many of them are also criminals? And they don't pay taxes either do they? I'm no rocket scientist, but isn't this bad for the American people?
And everytime a illegal immigrant crosses the border and gets away with it, it's a huge slap in the face to all legal immigrants.
