There are thousands of Iraqi snipers out there, we can't really know for sure if Juba isn't just one of them, or all of them.

Syrian Sister, you are obviously heavily biased. Have you ever stoped to realize that children actually DID have bombs strapped to themselves during vietnam? Notice that this "juba" charecter has not been reported by any credible news source? I think its a fraud. The theatrics are at its highest with the "scope shots" ... sounds like Al jazeera propaganda to me. Im not discounting the fact that he could exist, but it sounds WAY to fabricated for me. If he could aim for cracks in armor, a margin of error of only a couple of inches, why not just go for headshots all the time, it wouldnt be that hard at all. Seen this footage before - it's been proved that it isn't some super-duper sniper taking out the enemy of the state - it is some plonker shooting gofers in the desert. Take a closer look at what he hits. You can see the little buggers flying through the air.

You do know that all these insurgents/freedomfighters/terrorists aren't all in the same group, using the same tactics and fighting for the same cause right?

Knowing the sorry state of the terrorist propoganda, and the way these film shots are showing, Id bet money it is probably several different people and some jihadist propogandist desperate to save some face has probably made a composite person.

He is a sucky shot, though. I did way better with a hangover and blurred vision from a fight the night before. All he can do is wound. But given the lowbrow mentality of these jackasses, they probably arent bright enough to realize a wounding does not count as a hit. If this is the best they are doing, no wonder they are getting stomped.

But its interesting, and goes to show the irrational bias and ignorance of certain people. US soldiers filmed shooting terrorists get raked through the coals and called vilans, yet some ratbag inbred terrorist moron makes half assed films of bad shots on US soldiers, and hes a hero?

And people wonder why I simply do not listen to any media, foreign or domestic, to recieve news of whats really going on in Iraq. Ill stick with the only sources Ive found reliable so far: former commerades and friends who are currently over there actually seeing and witnessing stuff with their own eyes.

It is my opinion that such proaganda as this should not be allowed to be posted. My reason? It embellishes and promotes the terrible price our men and women of the Armed Services. Well, I have only seen one person shot in my life, and that was by a 9mm. I doubt that is an accurate basis for most heavy rounds, so I will preface by saying that.

I can say though, I have fired WELL over 500 rounds of .50, and know that it can litterally blow things up. I have shot it at boulders (usually a over 150 yards) and the things crumble. This is out of an automatic barrett a good friend of mine has.

Also, from what I have heard from a ma duece gunner, these rounds just completely obliterate people. Again, I can't speak from personal experience, but from what I have heard and seen, a .50 to a human would be devstating.
