Video link

I saw this video circulating the web, it has been cut and pasted by someone apperantly to hide the aftermath of the shootings, somehow this sniper (if its just one) seems to be getting away after each shot.

Ugh. That sentance reads like you are proud of the sniper.

Please delete this trash. I watched it and it made my blood boil.

Not to mention I have a brother who is about to go to Iraq in a brand new unit, "The walking dead".

seems to me he is a bad shot in sniping since it mostly hits them in the chest and they get away. from the way its fire looks like the van that was used. i remember dat another video where a sniper shot a soldier and he got back up. dat scene the Americans got the sniper. from my perspective we got dat sniper who was hidden in a van with sound suppression around the vehicle to prevent where the firing was coming from. at least the body armor protected the soldiers.

also they just cut the video out wen it shows Americans getting up. figures. mostly they would show a video where the American soldier goes down and stays down.

no doubt we got dat sniper.

here is another video of the sniper shooting at the American soldier and getting back up.

www.abovetopsecret.com...

its ironic dat the sniper dat shot the American soldier. the same soldier dat was shot was helping the wounded sniper later on. how humane is dat!!!

I've seen the Name JUBA appearing between the clips.

I posted a thread about this Sniper:

Elusive sniper saps US morale in Baghdad

Juba is the nickname given by American forces to an insurgent sniper operating in southern Baghdad. They do not know his appearance, nationality or real name, but they know and fear his skill.

"He's good," said Specialist Travis Burress, 22, a sniper with the 1-64 battalion based in Camp Rustamiyah. "Every time we dismount I'm sure everyone has got him in the back of their minds. He's a serious threat to us."

But I didn't know he Records the Shots.

Maybe he's got a Camera attacked to his Sniper Rifle,

OR,
a Tripod with Camera on it, and he can record the event, without handling the camera.

a camera attached to his rifle?
then he wouldnt be able to shoot. and not to mention dat sombody is moving the camera while shooting as well u cant hold the camera and sniper rifle at the same time. not to mention dat the camera is moving while still holding straight in some of the clips. dat means he and the camera are in a vehicle. and wen u are busy sniping u dont be doin the camera as well, dats impossible to do two things at the same time. dat means he has a camera man recording with him.

hes not dead, he was wounded and captured. unless it was another sniper. but the way the sniper uses the technique where he hides in a vehicle it may be the same guy. of course there could be replacements. but still aint good as the Marines in sniping. Happy Birthday!!!!

Thats harsh, I dont feel the need of being proud of him and neither do I want too.

No one participating in this War on Terror makes me proud of anything.

That is a pretty interesting video. This Juba or whoever takes shots in broad daylight from various places and doesn't seem to get seen, in these videos anyway. It does look like he is in a van or something and might have a hard mounted camera.

Many times it looks like he is behind the soldiers. He's not a great shot though since a few are wounded and many do get back up after, but I can see how he is a threat. He is cautious it seems. He doesn't take a second shot. He doesn't get greedy. He does have an ego or a statement to make, which is probably why he shoots video of it.

Personally, I hope they either got him already or they send in some counter-snipers and show the bugger what real shooting is like.

yer title says Iraqi sniper films his shots against the Coalition. got nothing against dat. but its a good video to be revealed about war and not to mention how insurgents and terrorists film their tactics which the U.S. military must learn and study.

www.big-boys.com...

He's fast becoming legendary.

Reminds me of the stalingrad sniper.

HAHHAHAHAHHAAHHA THAT"S THE BEST NAME FOR A UNIT I HAVE EVER HEARD!!!

indeed they are the walking dead.

I watched it and it made my blood boil.

What's the matter, don't like it when you start a war on a country and then that country fights back?

You really should have expected it.

Aperantly they sent 4 out to get him, but he got all of them. Each one with a single bullet to the head.

That's what the americans admit anyway

Call him whatever you want… for all you know this could be merely several videos of different ‘snipers’ over years edited in a string to make it appear as one individual in order to create this ‘character’…

This Juba is really not that good of a shot. Not many killshots or any officials/high ranking officers. Imagine if US snipers taped their shooting, hundreds of hours of kills.

Syrian Sister, keep your veil on, there are men speaking.

If this is one of the best snipers available to them I dont think we have much to fear. The majority of the shots were body shots and any decent sniper would be going for a head shot to ensure a kill, most of his shots were hitting their kevlar and I would say that most of the soldiers surived the hits, some of them barely even flinched when they were hit. From the camera it also looked quite a close range, if this is the case it is obvious that this is no "expert" shooter.
I also noticed in a lot of the clips you could see children and other civilians moving around the units, really shows how brave he is to be firing towards children and putting their lives in danger also knowing that the soldiers will not be able to fire back wilst he may be hiding in the crowd of children and other civilians. It shows what these people are really made of.
