Hi, you seem to convey that their is evidence these things are fiction, as may or may not know I am eager to obtain information concerning the truthful and factual status of these beings as well. Can you share some links/references of a pedegree that cancels any form of doubt for us?

The fact that there is NO decernable evidence/proof that any of the two beings exist(ed). People establish that these demons are superhuman but seem incapable of doing anything. everything surrounding these beings reeks of B$.
Demons in todays society consist of schizophrenic patients and the like.

I would like to apologize to the OP for the irrelevant activity in this thread.

Despite offending me and others I will continue discussing this for the benifit of those following this topic. I gather you acknowledge that the earth is not the centre of the universe and that the sun doesn't revolve around the earth you know these things because they are mainstream knowledge. I am not surrendering to belief of these beings either but I realize that the people making these comments are possibly in the same boat as Galileo and others persecuted for the searching of understanding and knowledge to service mankinds progression.

Your view is valid but your stance is incorrect, If you observe this from both sides or tend to believe this you should participate, discuss and evaluate. Since for you this is what you believe not what you tend to believe you should aim to approach this responsibly in order to facilitate understanding for all of us.

This is how the ancient Greek philosophers played the game and look what they brought to the table.

If thats the case then why dont you acknowledge people making claims about elves, fairies, vampires, flying spaghetti monsters, invisible beer elves and that Elvis is still alive?????? Also you would then have to concede that someones religion is wrong as demons appear in mostl religions and are 'exorcised' by most religions - so who's god or gods are responsible? So take your pick on the wrong religion
(Remember that some religions have more than one god and are still able to 'exorcise' demons)

Personally I believe their are validities and possible misconceptions in nearly all religions.

Not with current civilian technology. The best thing I can think of is a UV imaging device, you have to understand how to configure one first and then buy one $. And if they are not bound to matter which is apparently so then it will not work either.

In the same way that we can prove the existance of gods, ghosts, intersteller teapots, beer elves, spaghetti monsters and other such highly ridiculous and suspect creatures. And if thats the case why aren't you bothering with the existance of beer elves, why just bother with demons???

Logic dictates that demons and such like are highly improbable to exist and I tend to agree. So its up to you, if you WANT to believe then do so although you will be more inclined to believe if you are a religious person as demons form part of the religious ideology

I think King Solomon had a ring that allowed him to control demons not much info on how he invoked them that I can remember off hand.There is very little practical information on the internet about demon summoning.

Solomon had a set of Keys or penticles attributed to different aspects of the spirit relm that allowed him to summon and controll spirits. I think you are referencing king solomon with LOTR.

Summoning demons is not a good idea, no matter what you do these entities are quite skilled tricksters and will do everything they can to break free of any controll you may think you have over them to get to you.

Why isnt it plastered all over the news and the like or have a government health warning to not piss about with demons ???? You can buy all these books on how to commune with spirits,demons and what have you but how many demons actually appear ??? NONE

Your typical posession is actualy a rare occourance. Mostly a demon will trick you by puting a thought into your mind. Something that you know isnt right. The choice is yours to do what you will with that thought.

Everyone has those thoughts every once and a while. Something bad or wrong. The difference is what we do with those thoughts.

Free will is a a demon cannot normaly posess someone unless that person is extraordanaraly weak minded or otherwise has their will taken from them.

and besides what would you hope to accomplish by messing around with things that shouldnt be messed with in the first place? Kinda like poking a grizzly bear with a stick, sure it's fun untill the bear gets pissed off and takes a swing at you.

Can I ask just how you managed to aquire the 'fact' that this is the way that demons operate??? I mean there is no evidence for the existence of demons and here you are telling us all how demons work. Your working on the opinion of yourself or someone else, not a truth in sight.

Well we know that grizzly bears exist and ARE quite capable of making breakfast out of us while demons are non proven and exist only in our nightmares.

This is all born out of belief. If you don't believe then more power to you. If you do believe then that is where your beliefs come into play.

It would be difficult to establish fact of the afterlife, fact of angels, demons, spirits. etc but I believe as well as billions of others.

If you don't believe in demons and believe that EVERY thought is your own. (btw I am not saying that all your thoughts are made by spirits here just some) then perhaps you are right. If its right for you and makes you comfortable then so be it. There ya go.

What is the fascination with demons? It depends on what you want to know about demons with the books that are available. There are many books that invent, eh no, talk about demons.

Demons are NON EXISTANT, figments of imaginations over the ages.

For example look at the succubus, a demon woman that came in the night to have sex with men or the old haggard witch woman that sat on your chest and tried to kill you when you slept. All of these are now known to be caused by a condition called sleep paralysis - check it out and you may already have experienced it. I have, at one point I got it 5-8 times every night - trying to wake up with the feeling of something else in the room or that somethings sitting on your chest - its quite a terrifying experience I can tell you.

But this is a condition, nothing more than a sleep disorder that creates demons and nightmares. Wouldn't you think that if demons existed that there would be more exorcists than just in the catholic church? Or the 'fact' that demons are supposed to be so powerful why they havent taken over???

These demons are myths and legends - boogie men if you, will nothing more.
