How should men and women be treated? That's rather involved, but to stick to the subject a little better, we'll just go to what you want
clarified.
Real traditional roles are simply that the man is the head of the household. Although that might sound very much the same as what is commonly held,
it's not due to the practice of it.
Subjegation is not part of marriage. It also has little specifically to do with the woman working or not, so let's leave that aside.
The woman (in traditionally correct Christian roles) will yield her vote to the man, but the key is by choice rather than force. The man should treat
her with respect for that alone, and seek her counsel on matters.
The man will take the responcibility upon himself, and the blame as well, but the general idea, is that to be the highest, you must be the lowest.
Being the head of the family means you need to be the head servant to your wife.
To put it simply, if a man takes his wife's best interest before his own in all he chooses, then she can rely on him to make the choices for the
family.
