Doctor, doctor....I need help. For some reason (probably because of my "name") I keep getting calls from G.W. He keeps asking me for advice. You know, things like "what should I do about North Korea?", "what should I do about Iraq?", "what should I do about Afghanistan?". I keep telling him to simply ask Deux Ex about those matters. But lately it's gotten to be a tad more 'personal' -- you know 'oval office stuff'. "G" has some real performance issues and lately his ratings have hit rock bottom. What should I tell him.
I'd refer him to young Deus but I thought that I'd better tell "G" myself. What should I tell him to do? He has 'real performance anxiety'.

I have alot of foreign coins and bills from all over, most of it I got at flee markets and antique shops back in the states. No rare coins or collectables, just 4 big coffee cans full of coins lying around the house collecting dust.

What should I do with it? I can't sell it, it's not worth the cans they're in. I can't spend it....so what could I do?

I'm all out of ideas

Sporty

1- Seal one of the cans, this would make an excellent anchor for those weekend fishing trips.

2- You've got to have a person on your list that could use a paperweight. An exotic Christmas gift.

3- The collection plate at church. Save the money you can actually use and still contibute.

4- Keep this one for home defense. One whack with this and any intruder will be incapacitated. What a concept, using money you can't use to keep the money you can.

^^^ Oh, so the good Dr. I does make HouseCalls ?

hmmm...

Well, you see Doc, it all started back in July of '05. The wife and kids had gone on vacation to visit her family in Texas. I, however, stayed behind due to various business committments and such.
Well, someone's gotta do it.?

Okay. Now, here's my "problem".

In the days that followed I happened upon a website, which will remain nameless, and, in the first few days [read: weeks] I found myself logged on during most of my waking hours.

Now ... before you ask, No, it is not a site of ill repute, or one that lies in the shadowy recesses of the Internet. In fact I've found it rather interesting with regards to providing insight to the world around us and the inhabitants thereof, to include their thoughts, beliefs and desires.

My "problem" seems to be a bit of an "addiction" to the site in general. While I have typically lost interest with similar websites in the past, such is not the case with this one.

The evening news, TV in general and virtually All media types seem to provide a single-sided view of the events taking place around us every day. A brief and fleeting glimpse, at best. However, the website I happened upon, and have developed such an affinity for, offers a much different and multi-faceted view, from a Global membership mind you. It has become the first "checkpoint" in my quest to gain a better understanding and overall perspective on issues and situations that should be of concern or interest to most anyone.

Rarely does an issue or "story" hit the press, media or evening news without the site in question having an existing discussion regarding such.

I'm hooked, Doc. Is there a cure ?

For reference:
No, my affinity for said website has Not negatively impacted upon real life issues or concerns, nor has my participation therein. My concern is more that of an E-addiction.

What say ye, Doc ?

You are doing well as a benevolent tyrant. That's the problem Dubya can't get past the benevolent part. What REALLY worries me is the part in bold. Tell him that you look aweful in a blue dress.

As for his "performance anxiety" just tell him to get to get Laura to wear a French maid's outfit. AND remind him it could be worse. He could be married to HILLARY.

Edit to add:
that just makes sense.

Ah yes, you were testing the Doctor. I found the link at the beginning of your post and NO, you have no problem. Playboy is a credible source for news, world event and, er, um JUBLLIES. How can you go wrong there?

As to the E-addiction, stand proud my friend.

Edit to remove an N.

Damn, that was painful.

Tell me, fellow traveler on the path of the Hippocratic oath, where is exactly is this money that apparently grows on trees?

Spain?
Underground caverns?
or this one of those "urban legends" that the kids like to smoke these days?

Doc

Don't bend over. If the frequency increases too much your head might explode.

Dear Dr. Intrepid.

I hope you can help me with this problem, as I am a little lost right now.

You see, when I use my keyboard thingie, sometimes I hit a random button and there's this weird green light comes on on the top right hand side. Sometimes it's two, I swear I even saw three one time. I tell you I get so scared that these are government recording devices that I just switch the damn thing off. When I turn it back on the lights are gone. Is the government after me? Am I being recorded by my keyboard? Please please help me, I fear for my safety....

Sorry ATS regulation 4-2b(7) prevents me from answering that. Um, I don't know.
