Purchase the ability to delete your posts
@abovetopsecret.com e-mail accounts
Access to a special private forum
Purchase banner advertising impressions on ATS
Additional votes for the Way Above Award
Access to additional smilies
Increase your file storage quota in the upload tool


Are there other enhancements or items that seem like a logical thing to stock in the ATS store?

How about the ability to buy increases in sizes for avatars? Say you can keep roughly the same width dimensions but can buy increased length....something like that, I guess.

i have a question about the buying more votes thing. will there be a cap on this? because there is one member on here who has over 10,000 points and could easily buy the WATS award with these points alone. (i'm not saying he would but COULD, which is what i'm refering to, potential problems)

i think this is a bad idea. you should win it based on merit alone.

but the others dont sound bad. i'd go for a hidden forum you have to buy your way into. depends on what the content of said forum is though. dont want to simply "waste" my points on something i'll be unhappy wuith later. can there be a refund system in place giving someone an allotted amount of time to change their mind and get an exchange or refund of their points?

i'd love more smileys! thats for sure.

i'm sure there are many more things people here can come up with.



i am curious what the "prices" for all these things will be

how about a hint?

I think that Williams list is good enough..

oh yes but you did mention and i quote "additional votes". thats vote buying unless you're refering to being able to buy more votes so as to vote for more people. in which case i still dont agree with this. voting can be rigged and knowing the conspiracy whackos on this site (no offense i say that in the nicest way) it wouldnt surprise me if someone tried it and it wouldnt surprise me if someone cried foul and demanded a recount and then we'd have "florida round two" on this board.

i just see huge potential problems in this.

Not to put down your idea or anything, but you sacrifice the speed of the board, the more images you have to load every time. The bigger the file size, the more loading time too. It makes a pretty big difference. It also adds all that empty space in every post.

BTW, what determines what this mood meter shows? Number of posts? I can't remember ever being tranquil.
