actually the japanese had their own weapons of mass destructions at the time, they were the most advanced nation at biological weapon development during WWII.

one weird thing is that they had never actually formally use their bio weapons on battle fields despite all the research effort they put in.

I suppose if they had sent their agents carrying bio weapons and went stright for the US mainland instead of pearl harbor, the out come would be totally different.

okay it took me 2 days to read the whole thing get to the Bottom of this.

USA is number one right now but not for long

Russia They just have a whole lot of land not army

China they taking over the world but with their population not in the weapon style.

Japan after US is down in a decade or so Japan is gonna have to compete to take over because of their Economy which is greater.

India is growing on everything if they just happen to get money to help there poverty standard which is improving now, but if they get money out of a ancient treasure or something then they'll be on the Top trust me

Pakistan they need to get over with helping the terrorist its a fact that they provide shelter for the terrorist.

Britain Very small thaught they were the best before but now they aint if they were to go on a war with any country i bet they would loose unless they fight switzerland a country that has never taken a part in any war.

Germany Has any one ever heard that UFO u see are used and invented by Germenay Tesla or some one. Well that is no where to be the truth. Yeah yeah germany was winning in world wars before well they just started them to get attention and respect basically and Fear from other nation well that didn't work.

Turkey Well who do they have in their army You barely hear about them in media not barely thats like never. Go i would take it out

Koreans' One is nice other is bad well all dey can do is pose threats thats it talking about we will release a nuclear weapon i don't even hear about it any more.

France well lemme tell them that it now about controlling europe or New world any more or fighting the 100 year war but i still give them better stat's then britain.

Brazil and all those other countries are just nametakers they just occupy space in the earh i mean they should be helpin their people this is about S americans countries.

Spain/ Italy/ Portugal well i never heard about spain after 3-11 attack. Italy i heard some thing stunning about them. They won the world cup w/e.
Portugal i never heard about them after my last year Social Studies class.

Isreal they are not gonna hold on to that place for a long time c'mon look around them only way they will get to hold on to that place if the word Holy war was forgotten okay because really look around them and look where they are on THE HOLY LAND.

So i guess u get the idea this is all truth say what you wan't do what you please but this is the reality.

I cannot undertand how countries like the Koreas, Japan etc can be pu in front of France?!

I think we are underestimating Turkey.

Seriously...i dont like this whole my guns are bigger than your guns thing...sounds so tribal...but the EU would own any country,thats a damn well fact,the USA China Or Russia wouldnt stand a chance against the EU...i dont even want to be in the Eu...but if all of us decided to go to war with the above,you would get obliterated,simple.The EU is more powerfull than people realise...course thats all part of the NWO plan so we would never go to war,just stating an opinion.

I think, turkey should be ranked infront of Pakistan and India.

Turkey has the best jets out their, and now mad the best gun in the world called the M1 ( mehmetcik 1 ) and they just good overall.

India is rich, with big population but i dont think they are a match for turkey.

Im from israel, and alot of people say we are up the top, not really? our population is low, yes we have technology, but without nukes, alot of countries will beat us.

What about Japan, or Brazil (although they do not have the technology to compete with some of the worlds armies, like china they have the fourth largest army in terms of people) And Russia has to be number two due to the amount of nukes they have. The point of having that many nukes, is that when you are nuked you have enough stations and nukes to nuke them back

Thats probably the most stupid thing i have ever heard! The EU is not a unified country and they do not attack or defend together. If you think that way, you could argue the NATO is the strongest power in the world.

If I had to rank the worlds armies it would go the following

1.USA/RUSSIA/CHINA- (these countries are tied for first because none of them could ever loose a war without taking out their opponents via nukes. I don't believe any organized independent country would ever attack any of these with out being destroyed or severely weakened)
2.India -(The have such a large army, but could not fund a war as well as many other countries and do not have the technologies the the countries of the top five do, its shear size here.)
3. Germans- (I put the Germans here at number three because of there sophisticated, disciplined as well as highly trained army.)
4 UK
5 France
6 Japan
7 Israel -(experience)
8 Turkey (Its hard to say about the turkish army I put them higher on this list than I would have thought, i just don't see them being able to fund a war very well.
9 Brazil (many of you probably dis agree with putting brazil this high but similar to india they have a very large army
10 Italy/Pakistan/UAE(United Arab Emerites)- (These countries are tied at the bottom for different reasons, The UAE has way to much money and would use it all to win a war which means mercenaries and other countries could be bribed into helping them.)

My Ranking based on size and quality as well as reach:-

1. US
2. Russia
3. China
4. UK
5. France
6. Germany
7. India
8. Pakistan
9. Japan
10. Italy


Deserving Nations missing out:-
11. Israel - high quality and exposure but too much dependency on US. Also a small country with limited manpower and finance in order to effect the outcome of really long drawn war.
12. South Korea - too small reach
13. Turkey - untested
14. North Korea - huge troops but with obsolete machinery
15. Australia - very little war exposure
