How bout a forum where memebrs can post news of Military Exercises planned near their home town? I have found a total of 19 exercises in the month of July alone. The last time there were this many drills in one month it was June 2001, just prior to 9/11.

Another idea...

- Military/Law Enforcement/Public Services; Just an Idea! but This is a bias forum. Not everyone is or has been Government employees.

- Pure Trollin'; This is a place purely and soley for people to troll, start flame wars, etc. It's a Place for the Cultural War. (This is where all the Homophobs and Pro-Life AND Pro-Choice Abortion Debator belong!)

All these are treading on sending ATS/BTS to Hell (or to sleep with boredom)...It may be too provoctive for ATS/BTS

- Traumas and Recovery; Accidents, Violent crime; how are you recovering?

- Addiction and Recovery; NA, AA, OA, GA and other 12-Step Programs.

- Disease and Disorder Support; Are you newly dianoised with a disease or disorder? Ask and give advice forum. (This could very well attract dorks and trolls screaming "You Deserved it!")

- Parenting; A place for parents to get together and discuss schools, and other kid related stuff.

- Disgusting Forum; Where people talk about gross and nasty stuff!! example "Whats the BIGGEST turd you ever...........?"

i did some research on www.big-boards.com... and on this (ranked number 5) site, there exists some GREAT forum ideas for the ATS universe...

the sites ranked 1-4 are something that the ATS universe may not like (except for the picture rating sites, but i heard that SO is working on a picture rating feature, think "myspace.com", for ATS, but don't quote me though because i don't know what thread i heard it from)...

so, take a look at the site linked above, because there are some great ideas there...

Me, Kidfinger and The Vagabond are definitely trying to do good things for PTS, and ATS in general. So keep lettin' us know what you want.

Another thought, didn't see it on the list but if someone else mentioned it I'll retract mine. We've got collaborative fiction and short stories; what about a poetry forum? I've seen quite a few poems posted in collab fic., and it might be more appropriate to have them seperated.
