That we shouldn't.

Hypothetically, let's say I post pictures, videos, blueprints, hand signed documents, pilot names, test locations, etc. of Aurora. And/or anything else highly conspirital. And let's say, it takes the FBI/CIA/NSA/HLS a week to find out i posted all of this. Now, lets take into consideration, right now, on a Tuesday, at 9:21 PM Pacific time, there are 1300+ visitors on the forums. Around 4-ish AM I see around 700.

So, after a week thousands of people will of read this information. What would the FBI/CIA/NSA/HLS Do? Kill all of us? What do you think.

They'd first have all the information removed from the site.

Beyond that, it would be your word against their's.

edit: can't spell tonight

Denial is the key...no matter what!

or

They would just mix in misinformation and disinformation...with the information

Uh, well, Denial can't be the key. because Imagine, as i said, it was about Aurora, they've (obviously) spent billions of dollars, they can't just scrap all of that because some computer geek posted some stuff.

No, they would probably deny the authenticity (sp) of the documents and say the material was fabricated and that it is not real...something along the lines of "hoax".

If they deny the authenticity, then they can't reveal it. If they can't reveal it, they have to trash it. But they might just keep it under the curtain all the time.

Well the answer is simple....

who would believe you? It would be, like everything else here, regarded as Conspiracy Theory, discussed for a possible 40 replies, then once again thrown in with the "Next 75 Thread" section of ATS: The silent, forgotten, and motionless ideas once fueled by passion, and now only remembered through the "back" button on your browser window.

You want to reveal the truth- go through the papers, not the conspiracy theory websites.

What would happen to you? You're from San Jose, right?

Ask Joe Firmage.

Within days you would 'lose your sanity' at least. Wind up in Jail or dead at worst.

Just kidding. Really. Trust me.

I didnt say say deny the project or the plane.
I said they would deny the authenticity of the MATERIAL or the DOCUMENTS. So later on they can still bring forwth whatever....
they will just be saying that the info you provided is a hoax and wrong.

If your going to release this stuff on the web why not use p2p as well ? Take for example emule , with over 4 million users its currrently the largest p2p app on the net and when the infos on there its going to spread rather quickly and more importantly stay there for quit some time , with lots of sources in different countries its going to be impossible to get rid of the information

But you would need it spread rather quickly with many full sources who would als post on many different emule link sites at the same time to ensure that it gets a goods deal of attention

Edit: corrected some grammer

I'd say, if it were anti-grav, just say its anti-grav. Then, after people say it won't work, release the rest of it and say "deny oil and corruption".

If it has the power to get rid of the status quo and many other problems, do it. If its just a new cloaking device, then turn all the info over to the place you found it from and ask for a cool job!

remember NANS DESMICHELS?

she vanished from the boards after posting some apparently sensitive material, which was also removed.

it's happened before... we have to be careful, even in RATS.

To me, thats disgusting that some one would be banned outright over freedom. If porn, racisim and hate was posted, then sure, even a board members adress and info may deserve a ban if it has no good merit.
Now if it was something "ALL" top officals around the world knew but the public doesn't, thats civil treason.

Yes, but then when people go "Oh my GOSH! Vinci was RIGHT! And the government say he was wrong...", the government looks really bad, and it becomes obvious they have tons of secrets.

Edit: What did NANS DESMICHELS show which was so sensitive?

she is a former ATS member, a rather fiery woman if i remember correctly... i can't recall what it was she posted, as i never read it myself and the whole business was kept rather hush-hush, but it was apparently a copy of or a link to some sensitive bit of information.

just a warning... there are those higher-ups that deign to keep an eye on even us lowly ATSers

I've looked at her last posts, she likes CAPS alot.

I don't see what could've been so bad, although she did make alot of threads with no posts that I didn't understand.

She had posted pictures with some countries undercover officers shown filming people at a protest here in the US. The government told the site to take it down since it's illegal to show pictures of undercover officers from any country, and closed down another site that had posted them. ATS took down the pictures and banned her.

At that time I asked the same question and was pretty much told that they will not post anything illegal here, so do not bother trying too. I asked SO what if someone found cutting edge classified documents, and pretty much was told that it was a private site, and if law enforcement told them to take it down they would comply.

Damn. Well what happens if someone does find top secret stuff like what you said. We'd never be able to know, we'd just have to take their word for it.
