I would say that the most secret society is the secret society within the secret society of the Freemasons - the Illuminized Freemasons. These people are really nothing more than very wealthy European Americans who happen to controll the banking interests of the world. I'm not sure the status of Illuminized Freemasons existing in China, but I wouldn't be suprised.

I hate to be the one to break it to you, but there is no such thing as a secret society WITHIN the Freemasons. An organization interested in global control would have nothing to gain by being associated with Freemasonry, and everything to lose.

And besides, like I said before, we would already know about it.

You're right, that's not the case today and I should have specified. But I am sure that Freemasonry was used in the past as a vehicle for powerful men (German Illuminati) to gain the respect of other smart men (Freemasons). As of today, I don't see any evidence of Freemasonry being used as a secret forum for these powerful individuals. One need look no further than most of the globalist think tanks such as the Council on Foreign Relations and the Trilateral Commission.

They were not driven underground by the church. You've been reading too many Dan Brown novels. The Illuminati fell apart due to internal fighting and bickering. It is true that they messed with the governments of Europe and paid a price for that, but they fell apart due to internal disagreements.

And they were never a true secret society to begin with.

They were inflitrated and apparently destroyed, but a group of them did go underground and thats it.

Furthermore, no society can exist and involve so many people without at least a handful of former members coming out against the society for whatever reason. And don't say that the Illuminati silences them because NO ORGANIZATION is 100% flawless in the execution of conspiracies all the time. Mistakes get made and objectives are not always met.

Well, you haven't being doing your research, apparently so called "members" have come forward according to people like Alex Jones, David Icke and other illuminati researchers. It is for a secret society to stay a secret and hidden if it controls the eyes and ears of the world

Underground where? Where did they go? What did they do? What evidence have you seen that brings you to this conclusion?

Look, I'm not trying to offend you or anything, but those people that "ex-members" have supposedly come forward to aren't really the most trustworthy or legitimate sources in the World. If they were to come forward, they would pick CNN or the Washington Post or Geraldo Rivera.

They wouldn't pick authors who have written and published false information in the past. The whole world knows that both of the "researchers" you mentioned have serious credibility deficiencies.

No one knows, but when the Bavarian government banned all secret societies, including freemasonry and the illuminati and was meant to have fell apart. But many politicans at the time called them selfs members. Sources do state that the illuminati was meant to have served, but no one knows to be honest. But a secret society can stay a secret, for all we know there could be other societies out there that we do not know of

Dont be silly lol CNN is not going to go deep into the world of conspiracies theories and if you know the illuminati theory well, they control the media

But the thing is, the group that we know as the "illuminati" today, might not be the Bavarian Illuminat, other groups did use their name it has to be noted. The question is not does the illuminati exist, but is it the Bavarian illuminati

You gotta love Dan Brown's treatment of the Illuminati in his book.

It was almost laughable.

And people take the guy seriously.

Dan Brown is completely wrong about his studies of the illuminati, Yes, they were apparently "destroyed" by the church, but there was no secret plan for revenge

Illuminati is completely different to the one Dan Brown speaks off

I thought his treatment of the Illuminati in general was very pedestrian. Very cartoonish. Perhaps that was by design.

Yeah, the reptilian theory kinda brings his work down but Alex Jones does prevent some interesting evidence about the illuminati

Agreed. How can anyone buy into that reptilian business? (I'm sure someone will burn me at the stake for asking that..
)

Don't answer that! It's off topic!

I've read things about the Illuminati that are pretty out there, too. Lots of stuff. I believe it ties into the ritual satanic abuse stuff. And all the missing children.

In the end, they were broken up by in-fighting and internal bickering, DUE to an edict from the Bavarian Government. It was not any government, nor the church, that directly broke them up nor forced them underground.

But the thing is, the group that we know as the "illuminati" today, might not be the Bavarian Illuminat, other groups did use their name it has to be noted. The question is not does the illuminati exist, but is it the Bavarian illuminati

There has been other groups using the name Illuminati, including Spain's "Alumbrados". But to think that an organization that controls the world and everyone in it is a not-so-secret society from the late 1700's that folded from internal bickering when pressured from the government is just silly.

I'd say the most secret society would be the one that's right in your face...The US Government. No better place to hide secrets than out in the open.
