Wow, this is great. Is this where sanitized Rosy Cross material is to be posted?

Seems a little silly to believe the origin story, don't you think, Nygdan?

A man named Rosenkreutz? And where did he originate all this knowledge, and why was the wall faulty? How did multiple initiates discover at the same time (ie. preventing one from keeping the biggest secrets from others, but still letting them see it?)

I buy this like I buy the Illuminati starting in 1776. Some things just have deeper roots. This is one.

When becoming a member of AMORC you take an oath not to reveal what you learn in the monographs and I hope that fraters and sorors please refrain from breaking their oath. Breaking ones word is among one of the least moral things you can do. Force, fraud, coercion, theft, are all immoral, and oath breaking falls under fraud. And Rosenkreutz (Rose-in-cruise is how I pronounce since German words come out klunky) was NOT the founder of Rosicrucianism and any group that claims so is not genuine. And their are many "Illuminatis" and the Bavarian Illuminati founded by Weishupt was founded in 1776. It is a group that promotes individual rights and was a catalyst behind the American and French revolutions and abolishing slavery. Even George Washington himself had a positive opinion of the (Bavarian) Illuminati

I would say the opposite is correct. The Fama said it was Rosenkreutz, and all authentic Rosicrician bodies accept the Fama as the primary document.

You know I went to a Rosicrucian temple down in southern California a month ago and was walking around it and saw above the door way a huge pyramid with an all-seeing eye inside of the pyramid I thought that was pretty interesting and on the door it had astrological signs and pictures as well.

I have that same eye in the pyramid carved into a stone here on my table. That is even a differing branch than the AMORC or the old school. I don't know but I may have some of their books up in the attic given by an uncle but I don't have any connection there. Seem to be nice folks though.
